"This was the best experience with a company that I have never had come to my home before. I run an Airbnb out of my residence and my central air stopped working in the middle of a heat wave. I called all the service people in my area and no one could come for 2 weeks. I was panicked! I found Cawiamca on Angi's list. They are located in Saybrook CT. I wasn't sure they would come all the way to my home in Mystic. The owner himself called me and had someone come out THAT VERY DAY!! And the problem was fixed within an hour. I can't say enough good things about this company and the service man that came out. Fabulous, friendly, and expert service! I highly recommend them!"

"Things went great. I called to check out about getting them to come out to replace my outdoor faucet and they told me they could come out the same day. I wasn't expecting that but it was great. They came out, took a look at things and knew exactly what needed to be done. I already had an idea because my father had taken a look but it was more than he wanted to get into. So, the gentleman explained what he would need to do and also asked if I wanted to have a secondary part of it fixed (no shut-off valve, which should be installed for an external faucet) of which I said yes because I had already wanted to have that done. They were done within about an hour max. From the time I called to them coming out it was no more than 2-3 hours. Super friendly and professional. I was so impressed I came on here to write a review."

"Excellent! All old systems were removed and all new Carrier equipment was installed. This work was performed in May of 2018 so I have had a year to evaluate the heating and air conditioning performance. Other than some dampers coming loose and requiring service calls there were no issues with any of the equipment or installation work. Tyler is a great company with an excellent sales and service force. My installers were fantastic and there was some follow-up work afterwards like insect guards for the intake and exhaust of the furnace and installation of new wiring for a modern thermostat. Tyler completed all projects and I am completely satisfied and happy with their performance. I would HIGHLY recommend Tyler for all you HVAC needs. We did a complete replacement of both heating and A/C and Tyler did a fantastic job."

"I lost heat in my home on Friday, this is after I had a local handy-man come on Thursday to bleed my pipes because of water flowing sounds in my base-board, which I also had done last year. I called and waited for the same handy-man to come back on Friday after his regular job and was then I was basically told by the handy-man he probably couldn't do anything further to get it running and recommended I contact a professional. It was now close to 5pm on Friday so I went online and found Select Mechanical Services and filled out the Home Advisor quick on-line question which included how urgent it was and instantly after I did, I received a telephone call from Gary at Select Mechanical and he came on Saturday morning, as I had told Gary I was using electric heaters, so I was okay for Friday night. I don't mean to repeat a previous high rating post, but again he was a great service man, knew his stuff, very friendly and kept me informed of the problems and issues at every stage. I will admit that I had not had my furnace professionally service/cleaned for a couple of years, so Gary had found more than one (1) problem and fixed them all! "I hired northeast heating and cooling to replace my aging heating A/C system. This was a fairly large job, seeing it was a Multi floor house with two independent systems running both upstairs and the main floor. They also explained to me how adding a heat pump system to the house would help make heating my house less expensive during fall and spring. They replaced the entire upstairs duct work and reconfigured the entire house to run balanced and efficient. "The representative came on time and listened carefully to my thoughts of a split ductless system. He suggested full house central air and showed me how it could be done, have ducts i stalled and cost less than a ductless system. His experience of over 20 years as a technician as well gave me a lot of confidence. He made a general proposal and came back in a few days for my convenience and I signed the contract. The duct crew finished in one day and were careful, explained things and left no mess. Then the ac was installed and tested in one day. Again polite, clearly communicated. Once the system started up late spring I am so glad I did this! No more noise from room ac, no shutting doors to keep one room cool. The humidity is normal and makes a huge positive difference.
