"I started this process by getting 4 bids from reputable companies. One of the things you should be aware of is that some out there will try to take a lot of your time with demonstrations/high pressure sales. The price will be crazy and you will wonder why. It's simple...the big guys have to pay for overhead and all the salesmen that come to your home. Affordable Siding and Windows is a small company and has an advantage in having an owner in Jesse Elizondo, who also leads the crew that will be installing your windows. His bid was the best value based on the quality and scope of work. His crew removed and installed our blinds. No other company offered to do this. It eliminated another hassle and sold me on using them. Jesse kept me up to date with the window order and we selected an install date that never changed. The install took 2 days as we replaced all 14 windows in our home and a new front door. Each day they were there on time or slightly early with plenty of manpower. His guys are very hard working and the absolute best at keeping the work area clean. I saw a guy cleaning our floors as they rolled up each day and another one sweeping near the work area with a magnet to remove any screws/nails. The door frame that came with the door was the wrong size (my fault in ordering) but did this stop them? Nope. Jesse went to Home Depot and bought what was needed to to reconfigure. Again- zero hassles. I have a feeling if we went with anyone else this would have been a huge problem. At the end of the project, our house looks and feels better than ever and I would encourage you to hire Jesse and his team if you need windows/doors/siding. They are true professionals."

"UPDATE Feb 2021: Not only was this a good solution for the summer but it also helped out during the winter storms that shut down Texas. Due to Neal the owner adding additional insulation along with the barrier itself, it protected my pipes from freezing up during sub zero temperatures. This was a lifesaver and resulted in this un-foreseen benefit and protection for my home. I would highly recommend affordable radiant barrier. The owner Neal comes out and personally conducts the estimate and he also arrives and personally supervisors and participates in the installation of the job itself. They get started early and work very hard. I can already feel the effects of the radiant barrier itself and I am very impressed. I ran estimates with three other companies and this by far was the best solution. Neal also installed additional insulation and an attic fan in addition to the radiant barrier itself. I also examined the radiant barrier product and it is higher quality and more durable than what you can buy at the store and better than what the other contractors were using."

"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."
