"The team from McLaughlin Weatherization, who completed the work from my Mass Save Program energy audit to install insulation in my attic was AWESOME! They were a team of 3, who ensured the job got done efficiently and well. Professional, courteous and personable! I was very pleased with how they entered my home, treated my home and me while in it and when they left they even brushed up the very last of any dirt they might have brought in. I cannot rave enough about how great the experience was because I was able to work downstairs and stay out of their way but they definitely went above and beyond in my opinion! I didn't know the front door would get a package of weather stripping too. So while that was nice, the guy in charge of the team of 3 not only removed the old to install the new, the front door closes properly now! I cannot thank you enough for this small act of kindness (even if it was fixed with the new trim) because I had been so worried about my kitties getting out one day because the latch would not catch to keep the door closed. Also, the senior member leading the team demonstrated his years of experience and knowledge and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this company as a partner for Mass Save and I would personally pay them for any future work needed if not covered by Mass Save."

Frank was very responsive to my initial request for proposal, he was very thorough in his review of the project and proposal. Once his crew was on site, all floors, windows, outlets, etc were well protected before any spray operations began. The crew worked at a great pace and completed the project in the duration Frank had committed to. There was a great attention to detail to ensure proper thicknesses were achieved and all areas were properly sealed and insulated. I would absolutely hire Insulation Done Right again."

They arrived on-time each of the three days, addressed and resolved my every concern and left the house (thanks Nate!) and property so that you couldn’t even tell they were here each day. "I enjoyed talking with Mr Lavoie abut my insulation issues and was impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness. He had some creative ideas about how to insulate my attic - although when we explored these further they did not seem feasible due to some recessed lighting that was not rated for insulation. His creativity also seemed to translate into more expensive for me. His estimate was $6000 for a job I ended up paying $4000 for. He did seem to do quality work and would be very good person for difficult insulation problems. What I found unaccceptable was that he represented himself as a approved national grid contractor - they have a $2000 rebate program for homeowners who use their approved conractors. When I checked the list on line his comapny name was not on it - I then called National grid who told me he was not a participating contractor. If I had hired this company I would have been out $2000. It ended up being an incredible waste of time for me to talk to this company."

"Carbonneau is great! This is why I am writing a review even without having been asked personally or by email - which I only do when job or product is outstanding. Carbonneau did two insulation projects in my house this year. A large one in September, involving attic insulation (cellulose, lifting of platform) and insulating a large unused/unheated room in the second floor. This first one was done so diligently and cleanly, that I immediately texted Mike Carbonneau to thank him for his and his team's professionalism. Also, the team was friendly, and it seems they all get along very well and work hand-in-hand. The second project was done yesterday: insulating two crawl spaces through which the house was loosing quite some energy. These spaces were tricky due to their small size and complex geometry. It probably took the team longer than they had anticipated. Nonetheless, they continued to the end at the quality that they had delivered in the first project. Not rushing through things, great care! I love it when I feel I'm in hands of people who put the same care as if it was their own house!"

"Appointment was at 10 am. Truck was promptly received and driven into a service bay. New tires removed from bed of truck. The new tires were a smaller size as well as different make. Tech noticed this and double checked with me. Asked if I wanted the white walls inside or out. Tech went off and removed my old tires. While the rim was free the tech cleaned the rim, installed a new valve body and then mounted my new tires. Used an air gun to put the tires back on. Only went so far though before switching to an ACTUAL torque wrench and finished up by hand. Did the rest of the tires this way. Next truck was moved to the alignment bay. Tech did the best he could since it is an older truck and he informed me the canter / camber screw was as far out as possible. Informed me that he would set it best for efficient and equal tire wear. Truck was all set at 1230. Rides fine. Torque was accurate (checked at home). Air pressure was correct. Fair price at a quick service."

"On first occasion workers inserted foam under vinyl siding. All seemed fine. A year later, Sept 2013 siding buckled intermittently, especially in heat. Owner returned and fixed problem. Was prompt and cooperative. This is an older condo and I don't expect to use any insulation services again."
