"Tom Mackey, the general manager, came to do my estimate and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the services I was interested in: blown in insulation of exterior walls and he suggested insulating the area between joists(?) of exterior walls in the basement. He answered all of my questions, did not rush or pressure me into services I didn?t want or need. He was upfront, trustworthy and I felt confident in choosing DANA Insulation for my needs. The staff who came to do the work were also very professional, timely and truthful when they realized that my home already had insulation in exterior walls. The basement insulation was completed and in that time a manager/ supervisor called me to explain the new total for the work actually done. "I first called them believing I had a failed main panel. Only half my house had power, outlets right next to each one would work and one wouldn't, whole rooms were out, some rooms were mixed. I called Rader who told me over the phone it was going to be an outside DTE issue and to call them first for free. I made an appointment with Rader just in case but he was right and DTE fixed the problem (fuse at the pole and bad underground wire). I kept the appointment with Rader though - there were electrical outlets in the garage that had never worked. The tech was prompt, well thought out in troubleshooting found that the switch was spliced wrong which killed all the power to the outlets. He rewired it right and now I have power to those outlets."

"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

Having Paul around made communication very easy for everyone. We are discerning people and are still very happy with the results six months after they finished the job. "Excellent work, as they completed the roof earlier than originally scheduled. More important, all parts of the roof replacement were discussed as options on the quote, as I expected some roof boards would need replacement for example. The cost per board was quoted, the choices of shingles were discussed, and Dominic was knowledgeable and friendly guiding me through the roof replacement process. Their website is also an excellent tool to understand roof replacement and choices, and see samples of their work. I knew someone who had contracted with Roof Advance a few years back who had excellent results, paid a fair price, and overall great experience with this firm. I found the same professional service all around, as the communication was detailed in emails, on the quote, and in-person, and they even have pics of your job in-progress posted on a website for you to see. My husband used to do roofing, and is very picky, so when he inspected the work - he was satisfied in the professional job especially around the chimney and other trouble spots where leaks can occur later. Clean-up was absolutely immaculate, and the entire job was completed in one day. I would hire Roof Advance again, as pricing was slightly below other quotes but the quality of the work was very much an A+!"
