"Entered into a contract to replace half of my homes windows. I like the quality of the triple pane Glasswing products and can’t wait for installation in a few months. They will make a huge difference in visibility and energy efficiency. My sales guy, Scott, was very professional and understands the products and the industry. Enjoyed this sales pitch!"

"We have used Classic Pro Contractors in the past and will continue to have David and his crew be our number one company to call with a painting and/or repair need. He got the work done on time, did a great job, and stayed in communication with us the whole time. He is definitely a person we will continue to use.

"     I was having trouble deciding what flooring to use in a basement bedroom (cement floor) which had been flooded a few weeks earlier.  A few other flooring companies & a contractor insisted that marmoleum or a glue-down flooring was the only way to go (which itself was problematic with maintaining the adhesive bond), but I was preferring something that was warmer, and could "float" & be removed & replaced if water returned.  I had used adhesive vinyl plank flooring originally, but learned too late that you can't pull up the full floor like it leads you to believe...you can only repair small sections.  I had to throw away over $500 of flooring that I had purchased (elsewhere) & had laid down the year before because it all cracked when I tried pulling it up.
Steve @ Avenues Flooring was excellent in listening to my needs, meeting my modest budget, and suggested using  "click" together vinyl plank flooring instead of the adhesive style.  It has the same good wood-like look,  the durability, is water proof, resistent to mold,  and I can actually pull it apart & re-install it if I ever have a water problem again!  Steve also went the extra mile & researched & found a darker wood look that I preferred than what he usually carries.
Scheduling the install was easy;  Steve works with a gentleman named Ivan (Advanced Flooring Solutions).  They offer weekend & evening appointments, so it was wonderful for me that I didn't have to take time off from work to be at the house.  Ivan was very courteous, prompt, and worked efficiently. He called ahead & confirmed a time to drop off the flooring a few days before,  and we arranged for a Sunday AM install.  Through no fault of Ivan's, I had to re-schedule him to return to finish the small adjacent hallway. I couldn't pull up the existing hallway flooring until the bedroom was completed, and when I did, I discovered  mold from the bedroom flooding had extended to under the hallway flooring as well.   I got the mold cleaned up and Ivan returned the following week in an evening slot and finished the area, at no extra charge.   I'm very happy with the install;  it's an old house & not many of the walls are plumb in basement, but Ivan still made it look good.   I also liked that Steve did follow-up calls with me to ensure everything had gone the way I wanted.  The only minor issue I have is that although Ivan cleaned up the work site very well, he didn't take the empty flooring boxes with him at the end of the job, but left them outside by my house.  Not a problem for me;  I have a big recycle bin that took them without problem.  But, I think maybe it was just an oversight.
Added note:  Steve also sells & installs counters & tile, in addition to flooring.  I'm definitely going to be in touch with him for my next projects as well.  He's absolutely the best for offering options, tips, and points to consider as you're planning your work, and making sure that your job is done right.  I highly recommend checking out Avenues Flooring.

"After inspecting our foundation earlier, Q determined that we needed a sump pump (which we suspected). His quote was reasonable compared to others we had heard about, so we went ahead with it.
His team of three guys worked hard for two days digging drainage trenches and installing the pump in a couple of feet of standing water. We then had to wait about a week for the water to pump out and to dry out so a new vapor barrier and gravel could be added. This was done during a cold winter where it took longer for the area to thaw and dry out so the delay was kind of a bummer, but not at all Ethereal's fault.
When they returned, they were able to finish up in one day (so three days of work total) and cleaned up after themselves very well. The guys were pleasant and happy to answer questions during the work and Q was careful to follow up and check on the work. All in all a great group to work with as long as you're realistic about the work necessary and time involved."

"We are very pleased with the work done by Stephen and his partner, who were friendly, courteous and professional. Our built-in bookcase looks amazing and the damage repairs turned out 10 times better than we had hoped! The project took 1 day longer than initially expected but we attribute this to the careful attention to detail exhibited by these men. There were no additional charges added due to the extra time needed to complete the job. Color match to existing woodwork was precise, clean-up was complete and odors were minimal. We will most certainly hire The Wood Doctors again and again for additional restoration work in our home. Job well done!"

"I called Ed thinking I would need to tear apart my entire bathroom to deal with dryrot problems. He arrived on time, assessed the situation and suggested 'plan A' of fixing a shower seam caulk problem. it took him 2-hours and $4.00 worth of materials to mend the leaking shower. We will wait to see if the moisture problem goes away or stays. If it does not clear up, he suggested 'plan B', which was a less-intrusive option of a small hole in the wall to assess the plumbing. He was very professional, and could have taken advantage of the situation when I told him I was mentally prepared to deal with thousands of dollars of repair for the tear-apart that would likely have to occur. I will definitely use Ed again, even if this does not fix the problem. He is extremely honest."
