"The BEST phone call I have made this year for a service needed in my home was to Mirsky Heating and AIr. I called in the middle of a So. Cal heatwave because my thermostat had stopped working and I needed to replace it. How often does an AC company, in the middle of a heatwave, tell you they can come the same day? NEVER!! Except for Mirsky..Darrow told me that he would try to make it work..and he did...which I will be forever grateful!!! He checked in with me during the day to assure me that he was coming and not to leave work until he was more clear on the time he would be at my home. He showed up with another Mirsky employee named John..they were both super friendly and so helpful. Darrow found the problem and within 45 minutes, the thermostat was replaced and everything was up and running again. I can't say enough how grateful I am to Darrow and Mirsky Heating and Air...I am giving their contact info to all of my friends and will be calling them again for anything heating AC related."

"Sev was a total gentleman & didn’t mind letting me know the problems he was having while diagnosing the overall situation, which is very important to me. He also put up with my tiny rugrat as he lay on the floor to get to wires & she fighting to get to his ankles for a good cleaning! Thank goodness the owner was there to intervene! Really, though, Sev went out of his way to make sure I had AC today & not a moment later! He even threw in a much needed extra in order to make sure my ac was cooling at top speed! I’m grateful & my tears of relief are real. I don’t do well in the heat & my landlord is not really able to help me with this issue now. I can finally rest well tonight! "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"On a positive note: Brandon (of Breezeway AIr Duct Cleaning) was recommended by my HVAC company (in late September 2019) when new tenants insisted on having the air ducts cleaned as they moved in. To his credit, Brandon promptly arranged to have someone come out and clean the ducts - for which I (and the new tenants) were grateful. Per Brandon's request, my credit card information was provide electronically - which turned out to be a HUGE mistake; lesson learned! Unfortunately, the worker did not put the furnace door panels on properly and a few months later (in November 2019), tenants complained that it was getting cold in the house because the furnace wasn't working. I contacted my HVAC company to assess the problem - which is when we discovered the furnace door was misaligned - furnace did not turn on for safety reasons. However, that is the least of my issues with Brandon / Breezeway Air Duct Cleaning. The air ducts were cleaned in late September 2019 and my credit card was charged in early October 2019. Turns out, I was overcharged $130 from the contracted price and despite Brandon's apology and repeated promises to issue a refund (he even provided a screenshot of having issued a refund for $130) - the refund never appeared on my credit card statement. In late December 2019, I filed a dispute with the credit card company and supplied all supporting documentation; they issued a provision credit and reached out to Brandon to inquire about the dispute. The credit card company informed me that Brandon / Breezeway challenged the requested credit and said I was charged the correct amount (despite having plenty of documentation to the contrary); Brandon later informed me that issue was related to use of the Square app. Either way, the refund had not yet been issued. Update: on 2/11/2020, the promised refund of $130 was received; thank you, Brandon. Grateful to finally have this resolved."

"My old refrigerator was hot to the touch on the exterior side walls and top of the unit. It's over 20 years old so I thought it's time to replace it. I got it used in 2001 and t's been extremely reliable since that time but I thought it was on its last legs. So I looked at comparable size refrigerators. If you don't want the cheapest one made, they cost around $800 on up. Wow!
I remembered Angie's List and thought I'd search for a repair service to come out and confirm that I needed a new refrigerator. If I was going to spend almost $1,000 on a refrigerator, I wanted to know I absolutely had to. I read e Appliance Repair's reviews and called for an appointment. I got one for the very next day. Great.
I had a 3 hour window in the afternoon for the appointment, and about 45 minutes or so into the window, Joseph the technician called me and said he was on his way and only several minutes away. I loved the heads up phone call.
When Joseph arrived I explained why I called, he took a look at my fridge and said it was all repairable. He quoted me a $150 price for the labor involved before he started any work and I okay'd the price. He opened the back of the fridge, cleaned it out, stopped the condensation from a frozen tube, and did some more things to ensure the problem was fixed. And all the while he explained what he was doing and why. When he was through, the price he quoted was the price I paid. Very professional, very efficient and a great guy as well.
I'm sure I will be using e Appliance Repair in the future and I will definitely ask for Joseph when I do. Excellent service. Reasonable price. Perfect experience. Thank you very much!
