"It was over 90 degrees outside and the A/C was not blowing cold air. I called and explained it was for my 85 year old mother who was in home Hospice with end stage Parkinson's. I was worried she may get a heat stroke. They scheduled a service tech to visit in a timely manner. The service tech called an hour before the scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. Mark (service tech) was very professional and friendly. He not only got the A/C compressor to work but checked the Freon pressure and went in the basement to inspect the remainder of the equipment. He explained what might need replacing in the near future. Now I am not worried about my mother getting heat. I highly recommend this company for any heating and cooling repairs."

"HD Mechanical did an excellent job. After trying to fix my water heater, the tech offered me two solutions, the first to repair the old unit and the second to replace it. I chose to replace the unit because it was 20 years old. He was able to return in two days and spend many hours at my home. The tech was courteous, professional, explained everything and made sure everything was working properly before he left."

"These guys saved us during the recent heatwave. I looked for days for someone to come help us service our airconditioner, which was working....except for the cold air part. These guys were so easy to get in touch with and they put us on the schedule for the next day. They took a look and the fix was really easy. They serviced the AC, made some recommendations for future upgrades (but made sure to let us know they weren't emergencies) and left us with a house full of cold air. It was one of the easiest home services we've had in our new house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"Sev was a total gentleman & didn’t mind letting me know the problems he was having while diagnosing the overall situation, which is very important to me. He also put up with my tiny rugrat as he lay on the floor to get to wires & she fighting to get to his ankles for a good cleaning! Thank goodness the owner was there to intervene! Really, though, Sev went out of his way to make sure I had AC today & not a moment later! He even threw in a much needed extra in order to make sure my ac was cooling at top speed! I’m grateful & my tears of relief are real. I don’t do well in the heat & my landlord is not really able to help me with this issue now. I can finally rest well tonight! "Computer did the "gotta send info to Microsoft" but when tried to reboot it ran through automatic repair without success. I did all the alternative without any success. He came and picked up the hard drive on Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Fortunately he was able to "restore" without any data loss. Very happy with outcome."

"Breezeway was very nice. They were prompt and did a good job. However, we negotiated them fixing one piece of ducting. They didn't fix it and said that, if we found that it continued to have problems, they'd come back and repair it. Well, it needed to be repaired when it was clear that it still wasn't working. Breezeway became unresponsive to numerous attempts to get in touch. So, while I thought they did a great job in the beginning, their lack of follow through left a bad taste in my mouth. For that reason, I'm not going to call on them again.

"My old refrigerator was hot to the touch on the exterior side walls and top of the unit. It's over 20 years old so I thought it's time to replace it. I got it used in 2001 and t's been extremely reliable since that time but I thought it was on its last legs. So I looked at comparable size refrigerators. If you don't want the cheapest one made, they cost around $800 on up. Wow!
I remembered Angie's List and thought I'd search for a repair service to come out and confirm that I needed a new refrigerator. If I was going to spend almost $1,000 on a refrigerator, I wanted to know I absolutely had to. I read e Appliance Repair's reviews and called for an appointment. I got one for the very next day. Great.
I had a 3 hour window in the afternoon for the appointment, and about 45 minutes or so into the window, Joseph the technician called me and said he was on his way and only several minutes away. I loved the heads up phone call.
When Joseph arrived I explained why I called, he took a look at my fridge and said it was all repairable. He quoted me a $150 price for the labor involved before he started any work and I okay'd the price. He opened the back of the fridge, cleaned it out, stopped the condensation from a frozen tube, and did some more things to ensure the problem was fixed. And all the while he explained what he was doing and why. When he was through, the price he quoted was the price I paid. Very professional, very efficient and a great guy as well.
I'm sure I will be using e Appliance Repair in the future and I will definitely ask for Joseph when I do. Excellent service. Reasonable price. Perfect experience. Thank you very much!
