John, the technician, provided a thorough analysis of what was wrong with my door, and gave me three repair options to choose from. The other 2 companies to give me bids only spoke of the immediate problem with the door, not taking into account that the system operating it was over 20 years old. Had I chosen either of them, my door would have been operational, but because of its age, would no doubt be in need of additional service a few years down the road. While Elite's bid was the highest, I feel confident that I made the best choice in hiring them to repair my garage door. Not only was John professional, polite, and punctual, he very patiently explained the purpose and function of all the new hardware he installed, as well as how to keep the garage door opening and closing smoothly for years to come. And Elite's 10-year warranty was also a key selling point. All in all, I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of this type of service. "After a break-in, I needed to get my doors replaced. The reviews on Angie's List helped me select Supreme Window and Door with added confidence. From start to finish, the process was easy and the pricing fair. All the staff were professional and courteous.
The sale representative (Albert) was knowledgeable about the product line. He answered my questions and worked with me to find a product right for me and within my budget. He explained the different features and options - but i never felt pressured. Eric and the rest of the installation team did a beautiful job installing the doors: they were professional, neat and kept me informed throughout the job.
Besides just "selling and installing" my doors, Albert and Eric went above and beyond the written contract and were gracious in volunteering to help me with a few handyman-type small jobs I needed after the break-in: helping to install a new motion-detector light and fixing a broken wooden gate. These were small "chores", but the extra effort they took to quickly install a new backyard security light and to fix the broken gate helped me feel more secure after the break-in incident. Knowing about my situation with the break-in, everyone at Supreme Window and Door worked to expedite the process and get my new doors ordered and installed as soon as possible.

"William was great to work with! After my neighbor boarded the door for me, I called him about 9:00 p.m. and he came out the next morning to assess the situation. Since my door was so old I decided to go with a new sliding glass door. He had to order the door which took a few days. He sent a tech out to replace the door and Jimmy did a wonderful job installing it. There were such a pleasure to work with and it made the stress of the break in a little easier to deal with."

"The installers did a very good job. The company appears to have gone out of business. There was corrective work which was required and the company was not around to honor its obligation to make it right. The manufacturer, Marvin, stepped in and corrected the installation issues."

"We worked primarily with Connor, Mike and Jack to have all the windows and doors replaced in our DC row home, as well as having our back doorway turned into a large bay window and former window turned into a doorway (substantial masonry work). We had a lot of questions about the masonry work beforehand, and both Connor and Mike came out to our house multiple times (once with the mason) prior to signing a contract to walk us through the process. Connor and Mike were incredibly patient and helpful as we went back and forth via email over a span of weeks to ensure that we were 100% confident in the products we ended up selecting (Sunrise Restoration windows, ProVia doors). Connor’s communication was consistently exceptional, we would always get a quick response to emails/texts/calls and were regularly updated on the status of our order (delayed due to COVID-19). Connor was even able to provide a long-term financing option at our request. Once the products had arrived, Jack arranged our install dates and set expectations for the work. AWS showed up with a large crew of 10-12 workers who were all respectful, friendly and thoughtful as they maneuvered swiftly throughout our home. Connor and Jack were present to oversee a lot of the work, though the crew needed little direction. The speed at which the team operated was impressive, and the quality of the install did not suffer as a result. Although we had purchased inserts rather than full tear replacements, some of our window frames had deteriorated and AWS replaced the damaged wood frames without hesitation. Given the small size of our home, we weren’t able to get much done while the team was working but luckily my partner and I both had work off during the two install days. During the installation we realized that one of the initial door measurements had been off, and Mike very kindly offered to order a correctly sized replacement door at no cost to us. A couple months after the initial install, Connor and Jack returned when the replacement door was ready and also inspected all the windows and doors to ensure that everything was perfect. I cannot overstate the level of dedication to customer satisfaction we experienced with AWS. As I said, this was not a small job and we could not be happier with the final outcome. Even when unexpected challenges arose along the way, Mike, Connor and Jack put our wants and needs first in determining the appropriate solution. AWS is a truly professional operation, and we’d highly recommend them to our family/friends/anyone considering new windows or doors."

"turns out they don't service my particular type of install (non-professional / home builder contractor). Technician clearly explained the differences and said they could service it if I replaced a component with one they do service. however, since it was working just fine, the cost to replace made no sense. I appreciated his candor and honesty. If we ever have to replace the door and need a professional installer, Beltway is definitely on the list of those to call."

Price wasn't the issue but the financing n the office, paperwork wasn't filed properly had to redo. The sales and installation fine haven't had problems with the door. "While I love my kitchen and sunroom, I attribute a great deal of that to the constant presence and follow-up by my spouse - doing a lot of what I would expect a general contractor to do. MW is a lot better than other contractors I have had, but fell below expectations (based on reviews I read at the time of signing my contract). A lot of issues resulted from a lack of communication or miscommunication between MW and their subcontractors. We signed a contract in May 2013, expecting work to begin relatively soon. Work did not begin until after labor day. I have an extra row of lights in the kitchen due to a lack of passing design details onto the electrician, and the electrician did not put the appropriate ampage in the light switch - my spouse found this and it had to be corrected - potential hazard with an overheaded light switch! The join between the house and the addition was not done correctly. We had to have that completely redone by another roofing company. It makes me mad when contractor's work will not hold up for the long term - this had already been addressed once by MW. The AC unit in the addition was not installed correctly, resulting in a leak and subsequent repair in my brand new wall. My husband came up for many of the solutions regarding the tile installation in tricky areas. The kick in the pants was when we got a notice of a mechanics lien on our house due to lack of payment to a subcontractor (apparently the sub did not file some paperwork with the county). I know that is how things work, but I don't expect that from a contractor I selected because of a huge number of positive reviews on a site like Angie's List. I think that all reviewers should wait 6 months or a year to see how things stand the test of time before writing a glowing review."
