We are under a Semi-Yearly Maintenance Program with AireServ, and it has saved us a lot of money, time and grief. We have had Clinton in the past, and were so happy to have him again. We trust his judgment completely. He even went so far as to help us install a recent New Thermostat we had just purchased. That was soooo appreciated. "We were selling the house and wanted to be sure that the system was operating correctly. We bought on Angie's list a service check for our system. For $129 they would service our system twice during the year and give us/new buyer priority service and a discount on any service required and parts. When they came the service man found that we had a leak and said it would cost $629 plus materials to fix. We were surprised and asked if we got a discount because we bought the service. The service person said it did not apply to the coupon we purchased. He repaired the system and did give us a 10% discount when we asked if their was a senior discount. We paid a little over $800 after the discount for the service and freon. 
I looked up the coupon we purchased and found that it said we should get a 20% discount on labor and parts. The coupon also said they would replace filters, which they did not.
I called the company and was told that the coupon was wrong, but they would give a discount and a check would be sent the next day. I was only able to talk to the secretary and not the owner. When we did not receive a check in a week I called back and was told they had misplaced it and it would go out, but we would only get 20% on the labor not on the freon ($267) as that was material, not a part. It seemed crazy that it was not a part, but they were firm on that. It took another week for the check to arrive.
Overall it was not what I would call a pleasant experience and would make me leery of buying coupons on Angie's list.

"I am purchasing a short sale home, and as seems to be the case, it has taken a considerable amount of time to get all the approvals.  I am applying for a USDA loan which requires a 45 day closing window and once the approvals were received, I was surprised by a 30 day window to close so getting the inspections and appraisal done quickly and accurately was paramount.

My realtor recommended National Property Inspections out of Maricopa.  Our Inspector, Jeff Arrellano agreed to do the inspection with very short notice.  He requested that the power and water be turned the day prior to the inspection to allow any leaks or problems to surface before he began.

We met with Jeff as agreed at the property the morning of May 1st.  When we arrived, Jeff had already completed the inspection, loaded the photographs he had taken into his laptop and was ready to go with the slideshow to point out the issues he had found.  Jeff took the time to explain every issue from small to not so small and provided us with information as to what the consequences would be if they were not addressed.  He prioritized the issues that needed to be addressed, and had the inspection report and photographs to my realtor by mid-afternoon.

What I appreciated most about Jeff, is that he was not rushed, he took his time to explain the issues I didn't fully understand and gave us an opportunity to look at the problems first hand before leaving.  He obviously went to some length to get some of the photographs he did, especially in the crawl spaces looking for leaking water pipes and to ensure code compliance with electrical wiring, insulation and plumbing.

Jeff also offered to conduct a thermal imaging reading (a little extra) to determine if there were any weather stripping or insulation problems.  Jeff measured heat signatures of all the windows and doors as well as the output of the air-conditioner and heater.  Small problems were found that likely will be resolved by a little cleaning around the window rails.

I would absolutely call National Property Inspections again, and would ask for Jeff by name."

"My problem started with a roof leak during the most recent rain storm.  I called Patriot Roofing; and they sent a Sales Associate to me.  Patriot's Sales Associate inspected my roof from the outside and from the attic to find exactly where the water leak was coming from.  Patriot's Sales Associate then took measurements and said that he would be in touch with me to give me an estimate for repairs.  The next day I was contacted by Patriot's Sales Associate.  He had prepaired an estimate for me and would like to go over it with me.  We met at my place that evening.  Upon agreement of estimate price;  my roof repair was scheduled.  On the day of my roof repair; Patriots crew showed up on time and got right to work.  The first day on my roof they removed old tile and stacked it all nicely in different places on my roof to help distribute the extra weight added to slopes not being repaired.  They also removed bad felt paper and installed new felt paper and what they call furring strips to help keep tile in place.  The second day Patriot's crew showed up and reinstalled all my tiles back into position.  Once the crew was done I gave my payment to the Sales Associate."
