They were able to to resolve the problem by making some changes to the duct work and adding some different vents into the rooms (at an additional cost, but still affordable). 5 months later and the rooms are much better. "Our bonus room is above the garage, but connected to rest of the single-level house by stairs. It was always 10-15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house, so we had JSM put in a ductless system for that room. They were reasonably priced, did quick turnaround, and had very polite staff. So, nice to have a 73 degree office instead of 87 degrees! An added effect that we did not anticipate is that the rest of the house no longer needs a de-humidifier! Humidity DOWNSTAIRS went from 60% in the summer down to 45%."

"I called because sink was overflowing and backing up into the dishwasher. I wanted to have my old/broken garbage disposal removed and drain pipe rerouted because it was no flowing downward as installed with a garbage disposal in place. The plumber advised removing it and redoing sink pipe to sink would cost more and assured me the draining issue would be fixed. 

Well, $735 later, my sink still backs up. It doesn't look like the water flowing uphill issue was addressed at all. Worst of all, that was an outrageous price for a new garbage disposal. I wouldn't have agreed to the price had I known the sink would still back up.

"We had a special through Angie's list and scheduled Fred to come out and repair our Air Conditioner.  He was on time and got right to work.  He showed my husband that the inside of the air conditioner was really dirty and had a lot of debris and also that it did need Freon.  My husband approved the repair but after Fred began cleaning it up, he used our hose and got water on the circuit board and it stopped working.  He apologized and said that he would have to come back in the morning with a new board to replace it and he did.  First thing in the morning, he was there but then discovered that since the board dried out, it was working again, so no need for the new board.  After he finished we still noticed that it was not working correctly and he suggested we switch out the thermostat.  This was it and it began working correctly.  He charged us $320 dollars which seemed somewhat high but he was really a great guy and he did spend quite a bit of time with us.  After he left, we had a cool spell and my husband wanted me to switch the thermostat over to heat and it did not work.  We discovered that it would only work on the emergency heat setting.  We called Fred back and it took a few days for him to get back to us but he came and admitted that he installed the wrong type of thermostat.  He had installed a thermostat for a heat pump and we have a gas system.  He switched it out and all is well.  Really liked Fred and we understand that things happen.  We would use him again.
