"I've used Katy Plumbing for many different plumbing issues and they've always done exceptional work. But recently I used them to help out my 94 year old mother with a main gas line leak at her house. The timeframe was 5 days before Christmas. I requested emergency response on a Monday afternoon and Ryan from Katy Plumbing was promptly out in less than 2 hours to assess the situation. Ryan provided a reasonable solution and proposal to correct the gas leak. Work began on Tuesday morning and by Thursday afternoon the work was complete. Ryan's work ethic is amazing. He worked very hard throughout the entire project. He coordinated the trenching for the new gas line with the subcontractor, made all necessary plumbing connections and worked with the City of Houston inspector and Centerpoint. "<p>The leaking water was found at 5:15 a.m., I contacted the office as earliest as possible and someone was at my home at 8:15 a.m.  My son and I turned off the water in order to see if we could locate the leak.  By the time the plumbers showed up I was able to tell them what we had figured out but were not sure where the leak was located.  They looked in attic and then in den where the plumbing lines were and they were able to locate the leak. I was grateful that the location where they started, the leak was detected at that one point and my walls did not have to be completely destroyed.  Plumbers explained what could be done, temporarily and permanently.  Due to old pipes in walls, I decided to do temporary work as all plumbing pipes will need to be replaced in my home eventually.</p> <br />"
