José and Walter were professional, friendly, efficient, and respectful of the property. They were helpful throughout the process, completed the job in 2 days, and cleaned up well afterward. My house felt warmer on the first cold day, even before the heat was on. In addition, José averted a dangerous situation while replacing the dryer vent hose in the attic with an insulated one. He found a large mass of lint clogging the old hose, which could become a potential fire hazard. I cannot say enough positive things about the whole experience. I highly recommend ABT!"

"Very well. Much better than expected. A prior insulation contractor had come out and was not very helpful; left twice, did little. We then allowed MassSave to select the contractor and Retrofit took the job. They were on time, explained well, and were thorough. The service was excellent. I can tell that the work was done as expected (I have background in building trades). When there was a question re. scope, RetroFit went ahead and did more rather than risk doing too little, at no extra charge; and where a wall could not be insulated, there was a rebate. Cleanup was perfect. Because of a small area of brick facade, some of the insulation work needed to be done by holes in the interior wall; these were patched much better than I expected (though I was not expecting paint-grade). Also, throughout they were professional and patient, with good explanations. No hesitation in recommending them or using them; will seek them out going forward. I might add: much better experience than with a prior insulation contractor. Note that price of work quoted below is before the MassSave rebate."

"Laurie did another great job for us at a very fair price. She replaced one of our storm doors, as well as repairing a wood gutter, a job most repair people won't tackle. She built us an awesome new shower floor. She also repaired several doors and kitchen drawers that were not functioning properly. Our home is seasonal, so we are often not present when work needs to be done. Having someone we trust take care of needed repairs is comforting, as she is always responsive and communicative.
