Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. "The representative came on time and listened carefully to my thoughts of a split ductless system. He suggested full house central air and showed me how it could be done, have ducts i stalled and cost less than a ductless system. His experience of over 20 years as a technician as well gave me a lot of confidence. He made a general proposal and came back in a few days for my convenience and I signed the contract. The duct crew finished in one day and were careful, explained things and left no mess. Then the ac was installed and tested in one day. Again polite, clearly communicated. Once the system started up late spring I am so glad I did this! No more noise from room ac, no shutting doors to keep one room cool. The humidity is normal and makes a huge positive difference. He discussed how often the ducts should be cleaned and offered another service that would help disinfect and keep dust mights down. The extra service also extended the length of time before I would need to have the vents cleaned again. I chose the extra service and will not have to have it done again until 8-10 years from now. My nephew who is 45 was not happy I was having the ducts cleaned but he was pleased with their work in the end. I had this done in my last house twice so I am not new to this. I was pleased with their work. They started immediately and finished about an hour and fifteen minutes later. I have house that is almost 2,000 sq. feet. The $230.00 includes the $89.00 I paid when I ordered it through Angie's List.
