"Thoroughly satisfied. The team carefully prepared the area, meticulously applied the insulation, and did an exceptional cleanup after all was done. They suggested the best solution for specific areas, with closed-cell foam for the walls and soffits to give the best R-factor for 2X4 framing, and maximum possible fiberglass R-factor for the joists. I will select them again when I complete phase 4 of the renovation, the living room and master bedroom. Highly Recommended."

"Air seal was a joke, attic insulation was uneven, left debris in bushes from soffit vent intallation. Air test seemed unrealistic. However with rebate the price was unbeatable. They did all the paperwork so that was a plus. <br />"

"Very well. Much better than expected. A prior insulation contractor had come out and was not very helpful; left twice, did little. We then allowed MassSave to select the contractor and Retrofit took the job. They were on time, explained well, and were thorough. The service was excellent. I can tell that the work was done as expected (I have background in building trades). When there was a question re. scope, RetroFit went ahead and did more rather than risk doing too little, at no extra charge; and where a wall could not be insulated, there was a rebate. Cleanup was perfect. Because of a small area of brick facade, some of the insulation work needed to be done by holes in the interior wall; these were patched much better than I expected (though I was not expecting paint-grade). Also, throughout they were professional and patient, with good explanations. No hesitation in recommending them or using them; will seek them out going forward. I might add: much better experience than with a prior insulation contractor. Note that price of work quoted below is before the MassSave rebate."

"Because it's a multi-unit they have to have permission from the executive board which is me and 4 other people the offer to come in and insulate the units. Each individual or unit don't have to pay up to a maximum of like $272. They come in, they throw 9.5 inches of insulation in your attic, they air seal everything in your garage and basement so that no air can leak in or out that's not supposed to. Obviously our heating system needs a vent to vent out into the atmosphere but the rest of it you should not be having any weather stripping problems with the doors. They did phenomenal work. Since I've done it in July I noticed that my air conditioner is not running to beat the band and I'm pretty sure right now I've been chilly all day and I've just had the doors closed and the windows closed. My heat did not need to kick on, my home is holding the temperature. They also give you energy efficient light bulbs, new thermostat, programmable thermostat which is like an $80 item. They do a power strip for your TV and stuff you want on all the time and the rest of it is on standby so that you're saving energy. So far I've noticed huge change even in my invoicing from the utility companies. They are phenomenal in professionalism. I was amazed at what they did and I actually wrote a commendation to the company stating what fabulous work and the workers are so polite, very courteous, respectful and professional. I'm very impressed with the work that they've done here in the property. I would highly recommend them for other complex or private homes."

"We hired Noah to make our 620 sf basement paint ready. The basement had been flooded and was ripped out down to the studs. We needed him to insulate, hang drywall, plaster, and sand. He was incredibly efficient and organized. He came in and hung the drywall on Thursday, plastered on Friday, let it dry over the weekend, then sanded and finished on Monday and Tuesday. He responded in a timely way via both email and phone, and was able to work within the very fast turnaround we needed. He was also really nice. His work was high quality, and exactly as promised. I would definitely hire Ark again."

"James and his crew did a great job installing handrails to the front and back stairs outside our house. He matched the existing deck rails in the back and they came out great! All the handrails seem sturdy and well made. I would definitely hire them again!"

"After interviewing several plastering companies, I was given some grim reports about the extensive work needed on my walls. A lot of the plasterers seemed unsure about the work, or at least did not make me feel confident that they were qualified to provide me with flawless walls and ceilings. Just to give a little back ground, I have built 3 other homes before purchasing a 1950' ranch. the second home that I built the plaster work was OK, but not great. The 3rd home that I built the plastering work was amazing. It was so good that my painter praised the plasterer because it made his job that much easier. So when it was time to plaster the wall in my current home, I called the guy who had done the work on my second home (which was also the owner) and unfortunately he was involved in an automobile accident and was not able to do the work. So I was very hesitant to bring someone else in. My expectation, work quality was going to be measured to my previous experience.( so I was concerned) So I interviewed several plastering companies and expressed my concerns relating to the quality of service that I expected. Joe was very responsive when I called, he worked around my schedule to come out and tour the house, He was very confident, professional and made me feel at ease ( mind you I've already met with 3 other companies prior to meeting Joe) both my wife and I knew right away t who we wanted going to go with.(AJ Plaster) one of the issues that I typical encounter when dealing with contractors is their scope of work. most of the time they are not detailed to the scope of work only to later on bicker about what was and what wasn't included in the price. (not with Joe) Joe's proposal was very clear and detailed, he outlined each item and was very specific to the scope.( even though I felt at the end he did more than what was on the scope) The scope covered some 1900 square feet of ceiling and walls. Again this is a very old house and the walls and ceilings were not square, leveled or plumb. in addition there were some areas that needed patch work.(badly) He not only plastered but he also saved me a ton of time and trouble by offering to sheet rock some of the unfinished walls and ceiling that I had not yet have gotten to do. ( not for free) But when he quoted the work it was about the same cost that I was paying for materials and my labor and time was more valuable. (It freed me up to do other things that needed to be done prior to plastering) I was pressed in getting the kitchen cabinets in and the walls and ceilings needed to be plastered before the cabinets arrived. I called Joe and explained to him my situation. ( although Joe was not scheduled for another two weeks to start on my house. He moved his schedule around and was able to bail me out. He said that he was going to start at 7:15 AM. and he showed up on time with his crew every single day until the project was completed ( total of 5 days) Now what about the quality of work ? I did not expect the quality to be the same as my previous plasterer. reason being I couldn't see how it could be any better. WOW was I wrong. Joe brought it up one extra notch. the walls and ceilings looked like glass, they looked so good I didn't feel like they needed painting.. If you are looking for a plasterer. Joe is the real deal.. PS I don't endorse or write reviews, I believe if I pay for a service, I should get what I pay for. However this guy is the real deal, professional and A-1 quality .. THANKS JOE AND YOUR TEAM"

"After contacting Above All Roofing I was quickly notified by Cyle. He was very polite, professional and courteous. We agreed on a time that worked best for me and he showed up exactly when he said he would! After inspecting the roof it was determined that the missing flashing from my chimney was most likely the culprit. Within a day or 2 I was emailed a quote to fix the flashing and also a full roof replacement quote. I decided to go with the full roof replacement. Once again I contacted Cyle and he set up an appointment to meet and was once again there when he said he would be. Once the contract was signed a day was set up for installation. The crew that showed up was awesome! Chris, Cyle and the rest of the crew showed up early and did not stop at all! It was a very smooth and seamless process and any additional work that needed to be done was communicated to me. I was extremely impressed with the whole process from beginning to end. Shaun has done a tremendous job with this company and I would recommend anyone looking to have roof repairs to give Above All Roofing a call! A+! Thank you guys the house looks great!"
