"Woke up for work and noticed a leak from the water heater. I was quoted $1500 over phone for a 50 gallon tank. Technician showed up on time and quoted me a charge of $1650. I informed him that the person on the phone quoted me $1500, he mentioned that I needed an additional overflow pipe and a round pan to be placed at the base of the tank, and that was the reason for the additional charge. I had a $50 coupon from Angies list that I was able to use. I had to go to work later in the day so I didn't have the luxury of shopping around for a better price. When I arrived at work I mentioned to my co-workers how much I was charged, my colleagues mentioned that I had paid too much! Three of my co-workers paid between $1000-$1200 for their fifty gallon tank. If you have the chance to shop around it may be in your benefit to shop around. I'd like to finish this review to say that the work was completed well, the technician cleaned up after his work very well. Customer service over the phone was good and an email I sent to them was replied to expeditiously. I suppose they're not the cheapest game in town. Hopefully the tank will last for some time!"

"Breezeway was very nice. They were prompt and did a good job. However, we negotiated them fixing one piece of ducting. They didn't fix it and said that, if we found that it continued to have problems, they'd come back and repair it. Well, it needed to be repaired when it was clear that it still wasn't working. Breezeway became unresponsive to numerous attempts to get in touch. So, while I thought they did a great job in the beginning, their lack of follow through left a bad taste in my mouth. For that reason, I'm not going to call on them again.

"Dave spoke with me multiple times before doing the inspection on the vehicle and was incredibly patient and willing to answer all my questions about this truck.  When he actually did inspect it, he was very thorough and took the time go over things with me.  I was very impressed with the level of service I received here.

"I decided to purchase the Big Deal because my AC unit seemed to be rattling.  The noise was intermittent but it was worrisome. 
UMC Appliance Repair Co. arrived a little late but they called to say they were delayed on a previous job. When they arrived, I told the technician about the noise.  After inspecting the unit, he say that the condenser coil was extremely dirty and he recommended an acid wash.  He asked when the unit had last been serviced.  Since it had been a while since I had had a basic service, I told him to go ahead.  He also said I was a little low on freon so I told him to top it off.  These services added an extra $310 to the Angie's Big Deal.
The AC unit is on the roof.  The technician assured me that the acid wash would not hurt the roof or the plants in my yard.  In order to avoid future acid washes, he recommended servicing the unit 2 times a year. 
The air conditioner is running quietly and efficiently now.  I was unhappy with my old AC service so I will certainly use UMC Appliance Repair in the future.

"Jeep would not stay running after start.  Raphael knew immediately what was wrong.  He ordered the part and I returned the next morning.  He removed the defective part, solvent cleaned the intake throat and adjacent areas, installed the new part, reassembled everything, tested the work, and I was on my way in less than an hour.  Between his knowledge of the vehicle, his instincts gained through years of experience, his fairness in business practice, and his friendly and respectful attitude, if you try Raphael on your Jeep you will never bother looking anywhere else.  A real find - he is the best.
