"On a Friday night I did a wash and when the washing machine drained the downstairs toilet started overflowing. I stopped the wash and shut down the water to the toilet...and immediately went to Angie's to make a list for the next morning. I made calls to many available plumbers the next morning....most went to voice-mail. Fred answered his phone, and even though on a job told me he could come by around 3PM.....at 3pm he arrived with his helper. He explained to us exactly what he needed to do.....we were not surprised as we had this done before....he had to remove the toilet, rather than put the heavy snaking machine on our steep roof. We agreed. He did the work...checked to make sure everything was working and flowing..and replaced the toilet perfectly. He gave us advice as to how to prevent this from happening again. "Vince told me outdoor spigot could be repaired and did not need to be replaced which saved me money. He also replaced a vanity faucet which I provided. He was quick, efficient and honest. The most important thing was he discovered a serious problem with the way my water heater was vented. The exhaust pipe had been cut wrong and glued together. It was ready to come apart and could have vented carbon monoxide into the basement. (We do have CO detectors but this is still scary) We had this water heater installed a couple of years ago by another well known local firm that I don't know if I can name here. It did fail inspection by Howard County 3 times after initial install. Failure was all related to the vent and probably should have never passed. Anyway, by pure luck it was discovered and fixed. If there is a problem with the hot water heater, you cannot return it to Lowe's although it was purchased through them, this is clearly stated on the Hot water heater in bold writing."

"Mr. Rema arrived on time Sunday morning to update my water heater. He installed an expansion tank, duct work and replacing the piping to the thermostat on the water heater. He did an excellent job and took his time. Mr. Rema also went to the local hardware store twice to pick up the material that was needed. The only reason I didn't give him an A was because he quoted me a price at the beginning and then went done on the price and then tried to go back up to the original quoted price. After talking with him he decided to keep the price at the lower amount that he quoted."
