"Built to Last Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had them remodel her kitchen. First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"Evaluated two companies to do the work. Obtained names of these firms from Angie's List.  Both ' A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper' and the other firm came to my home to evaluate situation and quoted a price to stop the leaking.  Though the other firm seemed a little more polished felt more comfortable with Lee, the owner.
Work began promptly on the day we agreed upon (March 2014). Lee accompanied the two fellows that did the work. Kevin and Al.  Kevin being the lead person.  Nice guy.
Unfortunately, despite a valiant effort in digging down around the outside basement wall (in muddy conditions) the basement continued to leak.  My recollection was that Lee and Kevin said it wouldn't and if it did, call them.
I did and Lee & Kevin returned to inspect the situation.  A new date was established (Sept. 2014).  Kevin returned, we agreed upon a little more money to make it right'.  Once again, a valiant effort by both Kevin and his assistant, Al.  This time I even permitted them to remove a shrub near the porch so they could really have access to the exterior basement wall. Unfortunately, the basement leak continued.  We attempted to establish a 'return' date.  Kevin kept making dates to return but was never able to keep the appointments.  Later he and I managed to connect on the phone and he expressed his sincere desire to stop the leak for me.  
Finally, had a 'text message' conversation with Kevin (think it was a text message).  In that conversation Kevin indicated it was beginning to get cold out and the tar they use would work better if we waited until the warmer weather (Spring '15).  Sure hope I hear from them soon!  The spring thaw is about to begin and I'm getting really concerned as I know this is when the leaking begins!  They really seem like honorable guys; it's just that the problem still isn't fixed.  Once it is I'll be happy to revise my 'Ratings' of   'A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper'.  Was hard to do at this time as I feel as though 'I'm in limbo.'

"Craig ordered replacement for 3 new cupboards. was able to do this during pandemic by using my photos and measurements. Old cupboards removed and new ones installed in about 5 hours. Look great. They even fixed the door to the laundry room. Were very respective of COVID restrictions during work."

"I am a repeat customer for gutter and dryer cleaning so I called whrn the Chimney Cap blew off leaving my chimney exposed and open to the elements and animals. When I spoke with the staff several times on the phone I was assured they carrier caps for immediate install which was not the case.

Nathan who was very peronable came out inspected the chimney and recommends a liner plus new cap. He also recommended some preventive sevices which I elected to think about and get additional estimates. I provided a deposit and expressed some urgency about getting this service completed to recap the chimney which is open.

I was advised to work with schedulers as he was unclear on his schedule and how long I may have to wait for install of the new cap. He did say they would be flexible with time of day for work schedules

"Awesome company!!! I have dealt with a lot of contractors, but none have come close the great service I received from SureGuard. It started with Dillon who asked lots of questions and presented options based on what we wanted--no pressure, listened well. Other vendors who came either were hurried or trashed other competitors more than presenting their. I started with just a roof replacement. The SureGuard team did an excellent job working into dark to be sure everything was done as promised. This resulted in a siding and gutter project. I did not even consider getting additional quotes, because SureGuard earned my trust. Dillan presented a design based on what the interior of our home looked like. We went with a grey/white siding with cedar panels in red on the gables and a black/white/grey stone bottom half--BEAUTIFUL! John and Ryan made an awesome team. They were great with my dogs (one of my dogs still runs around the house looking for John!). The owner, Tony Saferian, came out almost daily to check on progress, answer questions and keep me aware of where they were at in the project. Tony is meticulous! He made it very clear that he expects to have the same quality of work done as though it was on his own home. I had some big additional items I requested during the project. Usually, a contractor would say they would do it later, but Tony and his team completed these changes. They wanted to be sure we were completely satisfied when the job was done. My wife and I were completely satisfied and expectations were exceeded. When you invest in your home make sure you invest in a good contractor. SureGuard is the best out there by far."
