"Acorn Home Improvements,Inc. did work on my elderly mother's home. The house needed new windows. The old ones were drafty and were hard to open. In addition to replacing the windows, we decided to have additional insulation installed in the attic. Both crews, one for the windows and the other for the insulation, were professional, polite, on time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. It was a pleasure to deal with a company that was accommodating and completed the work as agreed upon. Mom and I found their pricing was very reasonable. Since I live out of state, I was not able to be there for the entire process so it's comforting to know that there are companies that are honest and reliable. When the project was completed mom was thrilled with her new windows and how easy they were to open and close. Further more with the proper insulation, mom found that her utility bills have decreased which is an added bonus for someone on a fixed income. Mom and I highly recommend Acorn and would definitely use them again."

"Master Attic removed my old and rodent infested insulation, thoroughly cleaned out all the junk in my attic, vacuumed all the dirt, debris, and rodent feces, sealed all air leaks, installed rodent-proof cages around any entry points to the attic, sanitized the entire attic space and installed new insulation throughout. "CUSTOMER SASTIFACTION!!!! that is #1 on this companys mind no matter what. I am 27 years old and own my home and not once ever felt taken advantage of or pressured into doing anything. I own a very old home built in 1937. I called John because I have a closet that was extremely cold even had ice on the INSIDE of my closet during a cold winter. I called in the afternoon on a Sunday we talked on the phone for at least a 45 min discussing my problem and explaining every option. I told him I didn't know what I wanted to do but asked him if he could come by and look at my closet. He said sure no problem by 4 pm he was there. Now I am about an hour away.....which nether of us realized at the time but as he said he came. He assessed my problem with a thermal heat gun and told me what he thought and what he could do for reasonable price. He sprayed foam in every external wall of the closet as well as spraying a gap outside of the house on the walls too. It worked pretty well. He called me the very next day to ask how things were and I told him the areas on which he sprayed seemed good and much warmer. The floor of my closet was still slightly cold which I had told him and he said yea he was afraid of that. (Which I decided against when he origanlly told me). But guess what he immeaditly told me he would come back the following weekend and spray the floor as well at no additional charge!!!....i guess I should have listened to him to begin with......i am so thankful I found an honest company that goes above and beyond. thanks so much john"

"Working with Ed was amazing. I got several other quotes and nobody else even mentioned that the new addition to the crawl space already had appripriate insulation and didn't need to be re-done. Ed saved us money and materials by noticing that. Although it took some time to schedule the work, once scheduled everything went so smoothly. Ed and his crew arrived on time, were extremely clean, and very efficient. Our floors above the crawl space are noticeably warmer. I'd hire Ed again in a heartbeat!"

"The crew arrived as planned and on time. The job took about two days, which was anticipated. <br /> They were very accommodating to the furnishings and clutter that they had to work around to reach the exterior walls. They worked as neatly as possible. To minimize dust and debris, they held a vacuum nozzle by the drill wherever they made holes. <br /> The only wall I think they didn't do as well as others was in the main floor bathroom where the exterior wall is tiled up to about four feet in height. The choice there was to risk damaging tiles by removing or drilling through them or forgo insulating in that small area. They did insulate that wall through holes drilled above the tiles, but, in non-tiled walls, two holes - an upper and a lower hole - were drilled for more complete coverage, as mentioned earlier. <br /> In all, I am satisfied with the workmanship and the patience Tony and his crew demonstrated, answering all my questions before and during the process. <br />"

"I have nothing but good things to say about Colin and the team. They are professional, brought in an army to stay on track with timelines, and left the place looking better than it was before they started. They re-painted and finished the job better than expected. We could hear a pin drop upstairs before they came and it's now 80% better. We can hear them occasionally walking on the hard floor but no music, or anything else. We could hear their dog running up the hall, and no longer. The one thing to be aware of is that it's a full scale renovation that results in a lot of dust. It takes time to get every surface clean again but that's the only difficulty. They even fixed exposed cable wires in the ceiling and did additional aesthetic things that was not in the contract because "it made sense while the ceiling was open". We are the 4th in our building to use them and they continue getting business from our neighbors. They come highly recommended."

"The whole experience went very well. I actually chose Econotherm based on the materials that they used and the professionalism of the audit staff. The Econotherm Staff showed up on time, applied all the insulation and waited for the after insulation audit in case <br /> <br />any leaks were found. Not only did the house show a 20% improvement, the how was 50% more air tight after their work. That means the actual savings in heating will be more then was proposed. <br /> <br />The clean up after the job was well done and I do not have any complaints. Everything was either as advertised or better than advertised. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"
