"Our oil furnace/HVAC could not be repaired. We purchased a new unit, the install went well thanks to two professional technicians from Delaware. Our issues began after a visit from an inspector arrived 6 days later. He wouldn't listen to any question and replied "If I answer that, I have to charge you!" We have no idea what he did to the new thermostat, new oil furnace, and/or to the AC condenser. We reported it within 6 days when the outside temperature was in the 80's. Today a technician was scheduled between 8am-12noon. I was told he would be a little late...Another call advised that he needed to be replaced with a technician that is knowledgeable about "Oil furnace/ HVAC systems"??? We are now at the mercy of a longer wait time and hope someone will show up today with the temperature rising in our home. Praying that all will be corrected at no additional cost to us."

He provided us with estimates for a number of options - similar to those from other HVAC companies that quoted for this work. This was a really nice touch as usually contracts are signed electronically these days. It took nearly 18 hours and three separate appointments to replace a single fuse under a warranty installed on November 4, 2025. "It went great! Vernon did an excellent job of replacing the furnace and air conditioning. He also made some improvements to my aging duct work to improve airflow. The results have been fantastic. A bedroom that used to require its own window unit to stay cool is now ice cold in the summer with the central air. My 1952 house was not equipped with a vent, nor proper traps for either the washing machine or sink. There were sewer gases backing up on occasion, into the sink area, which is of course unpleasant.

Robert installed the traps, then came back to add the vent to the outside of the house. He did not have to go through the attic and roof. The end result looks like it was built with the house, and blends in well with the exterior.

"Me Henry was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the whole situation to me and gave me all options and helped me choosing the best unit. My AC was leaking freon and was beyond repair. Initially Henry did his best to make it work and it worked only for two weeks and eventually we opted to replace our unit. "My sump pump float became dis-attached and was not operating correctly.  I called to have someone come out as soon as possible - and was referred by another plumbing company to Aqua.  The workers arrived within an hour, which was nice because I was needing to bail water and had to get to work.  They diagnosed correctly that the pump was disattached and reattached it so the pump would work.  They would have likely left and not charged me at that point.  The pump is old, plastic and finicky -  there is nothing like living with the uncertainty of it failing during a heavy rainfall.  They indicated it would be a good idea to replace the pump ... and I had been feeling that way for some time.  It is 5 years old.
They were going to come back the next day, but discovered that a local distributer had 2 pumps in stock.  They went out and had it installed within 30 minutes.  It is a nicely constructed solid cast iron pump with a float on a rigid pole.  It comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty and a one year installation warranty through Aqua.  I don't think the speed of response and installation could have gone better.  I do not know the average for sump pump installation.  The pump itself likely cost under $150.  But, I did not wish to attempt the installation.  So, I'll give it an A, as I believe it is likely at least an average price for the job.  And I have a lot of peace of mind.
