"In November of 2024, the house needed major plumbing work such as replacing a 50 + year old boiler, leaky bathroom faucet and sink, old basement utility sink, gate valves, and installing the line for the new refrigerator ice and water dispenser. Thanks to Angi, Dave Weinfeldt, contacted me and the rest is history. He personally visited my home and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate for the entire project. He sent highly experienced, talented, and trained expert plumbing professionals and a electrician to do the work. After it was all done, I can honestly say that I'm extremely satisfied with quality of the work. As a licensed boiler operator, witnessed this outstanding work. "Green Apple has come to our rescue not once but on TWO separate occasions! The first was last summer when my AC system had issues and most recently was right before Thanksgiving when my steam boiler died. The boiler broke the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We called numerous plumbers that friends recommended - most of which either never called us back or they told us they wouldn't be able to do any work until the Monday after Thanksgiving (at earliest). We did get one estimate but it was a LOT more than we ever expected and more than anyone had suggested we should pay for a new boiler. Then we remembered Green Apple and gave them a call. It was amazing to have them answer the call (no typical answering machine) and say they would be here in 2 hours or less. Dean came as promised and the estimate was substantially less expensive than my other one. By this time it was at least 3pm on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They immediately started the work and were still working at 9pm. They said if they stayed until 11pm they could probably finish that same day, but we decided to call it a night and finish the next morning. They explained everything along the way and the cost never increased from what was quoted in the estimate, even with the late hours! In fact, they also installed a new thermostat and a valve for one of my radiators - all at no additional cost. In addition, they (team of 4 guys) fixed some prior issues with the old boiler that weren't up to code. They cleaned up everything and even gave me an estimate for additional work I will likely have done in the spring. I highly recommend Green Apple for all your HVAC work and plumbing! I won't hesitate to call them for any future work I need done."

Rob and his crew were great. They did everything a professional is supposed to do. They were pleasant to work with and they seemed to care about doing a good job.

They showed up on time, worked hard, did the job correctly and cleaned up after themselves before they left.

The drain repair was a nasty job. The old cast iron pipe broke right in the middle of the basement wall. They had to break through a concrete patio outside and dig approximately 4 feet down to get to the ancient cast iron drain pipe. They cut and removed the old pipe and replaced it with new PVC, including a cleanout. They also ran into issue inside the basement and had to replace more of the cast iron pipe than planned. No whining, no complaining they just did the job. Many tradesmen these days don't have much patience with old houses and their idiosyncrasies.

They did a great job and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
