When they arrived they mentioned another layer of insulation in addition to the one I signed up for, but they offered this at no pressure and accepted my answer of no.  I got 330 dollars back from right away, and I also am getting a tax credit, making the insulation cost a little less than $200. This is exactly what they said to me; there have been no hidden cost.  It is hard to judge quality with this job because you can't see it, but the upstairs does seem to hold its temperature better."
