"Had the entire AC/Heating system replaced. Took about 2 days because the inside equipment was in the attic. Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. The owner DID NOT try and sell me on an upgraded system as most other HVAC companies would do. The owner only recommended what was actually required. Highly recommend this company."

"I called rather late in the morning because of just coming home from work. But he was out there to fix the A/C. --on time, too. It needed a starter switch because of the new grids in Robert, LA. Anyway, the service was right to the point and he knew just what the problem was by what was going on with the a/c. It didn't take long either, there was no waiting and all. Affordable, as well. Very nice service. Thank you, Marcotte's. Emmy C."

"I have been having a/c and heat issues for a while. I reach out to serval company's for service, but presidential offered me the best price and service! Roosevelt is the best at what he does and his overall knowledge is impeccable. Him and his team performance was over and beyond what I had expected and would highly recommend this company. The level of professionalism, cleanliness, knowledge, accuracy, and expected time of completion was punctual. Do yourself a favor and hire Presidential for all your A/C and Heating needs..."

FAQs for heat pump repair or service projects in Pearl River, LA

Heat pumps move air to cool or warm your home during different seasons. In cold weather, they extract heat from the outdoors and bring it inside to warm your home. In warm weather, they remove heat from your home to keep it cool. This efficient heat transfer increases indoor comfort, improves energy efficiency, and reduces the need for additional heating systems.

Replacing a heat pump costs between $4,200 and $7,900. The actual cost depends on the type of heat pump. Geothermal models are the most expensive to replace, with the price of the unit plus labor ranging between $6,000 and $20,000. Air source models cost between $4,500 and $8,000 to replace, while the replacement costs for a mini split unit run between $1,300 and $8,000.

The average heat pump is designed to last about 14 years, roughly the same as a central air conditioning system (12 to 15 years). Newer models can last 20 years or more. How long your heat pump lasts depends on how frequently you use it and whether you perform routine maintenance like annual tuneups.
