"They did and excellent job in removing a 550 gallon oil tank. The only issue I had was that Sal told me that they would not charge me for removing the clean oil in the tank, only the sludge. But then they charged me for removing every gallon of oil in the tank. That was disappointing. End of the day, my tank is gone and they handled the job well."

"Everything was great! Rob is extremely accommodating with working out times that will work for you. We had no hot water and they truly looked at this as an emergency. It was Memorial Day and they said he would come out and no extra charge for holidays. We had plans and didn't want to ruin any place he had so we had him come out the following day. Furnace is fixed. He didn't try to change for additional services that weren't needed. Very pleased. Just one complaint. My husband said Rob would mail us a receipt and I haven't received one. Other than that customer service and service was top notch. This guy knows his stuff! Thank you Rob!"

"Kurt was very professional. Before he started he kept checking the slope of the property to know where French drains had to be installed. I had large ponding areas on my property and with all the rain we had the ponding never went down. I had a lot of rain yesterday and I wanted to see how the water was draining away. It was perfect. He came early in the morning and didn't leave till 6:00pm. He never took a break, just kept working with his equipment all day long. The temperature was always in the high 80's and very humid. I would definitely recommend him for any job you may have. Thanks Kurt, you saved my property, it looks great. Now just waiting for the grass to grow. This project cost me over $8000.00 and was worth every penny. He did more than expected."

"The crew came one day after my call. They removed a small tree from my front lawn, grinded the stump, removed the limbs and debris. You wouldn't know the tree was ever there. Excellent job."

FAQs for water or fuel tank remove projects in Pen Argyl, PA

There are several reasons why you might need to remove an oil tank. In some areas, local regulations require tanks to be removed after a certain period. Leaking tanks can pose hazards to drinking water and the environment. Plus, many municipalities won't allow property sales until an inspection confirms the oil tank is safe.

One option for disposing of an oil tank is to have your removal pro take it to a dismantling yard or salvage yard for recycling. If a salvage yard isn’t an option, you can contact a local landfill or a local oil tank removal service for help finding a proper disposal location for your tank. Typically, you’ll need to show there’s no sludge or residue in the tank.

A leaking oil tank reveals itself through increased energy bills and a noticeable oily sheen on water surfaces, which signals a malfunction. You may also experience strong oil odors and observe stained grass and deteriorating vegetation near your property. These clear warning signs demand immediate professional evaluation to protect the environment and secure your property’s safety.

Yes, states mandate soil testing during oil tank removal to detect hazardous pollutants that harm the environment. This testing confirms that no soil contamination exists. Certified specialists collect soil samples to meet regulatory requirements and ensure property safety. Conducting these tests protects water quality and the structure’s integrity while immediately triggering any necessary remediation measures.
