He provided us with estimates for a number of options - similar to those from other HVAC companies that quoted for this work. Alex made the one and a half hour drive to visit with us again, to walk us through the contract details, and to explain install process. This was a really nice touch as usually contracts are signed electronically these days. "This review should probably be three separate reviews, but I think it shows my trust in Vernon using him multiple times. He came out to give me a quote on a new gas water heater and relocating it about 8 feet over in the basement. The price was reasonable and he provided me the water heater information so I could see it's reviews beforehand. While installing my water heater, my tenant called and said the AC was not working. So, after completing the install and his other stops that day, Vernon went over later that day to take a look. The repair required a new part, so a few days later he repaired the AC and I had him replace a leaking pressure valve while he was there. About a month later, a house I renovated needed some repair work on a leaky drain before settlement (he was not the initial installer). Vernon went into that crawlspace and repaired the pipe and provided the appropriate documentation so we could get to settlement in time. I had Hamilton Plumbing and HVAC do work at my home, my rental, and then my house flip. I plan to have Vernon come back to run a gas line when I install a gas fireplace and again when I do my basement bathroom."

My 1952 house was not equipped with a vent, nor proper traps for either the washing machine or sink. There were sewer gases backing up on occasion, into the sink area, which is of course unpleasant.

Robert installed the traps, then came back to add the vent to the outside of the house. He did not have to go through the attic and roof. The end result looks like it was built with the house, and blends in well with the exterior.

"Within an hour of purchasing the advertised special, Henry from B A R called us to set up an appointment for service. He seemed knowledgeable and showed up promptly to our appointed time. After working on the unit for about an hour he determined that the unit had died and there was no hope reviving it - it was 14 years old after all. WIthin a few days Henry was back and installed our new unit. Around the time he installed our unit, our second unit died. We had him replace it as well. The work was done in a timely manner and we have been completely satisfied. We would definitely hire B A R Appliances again for our HVAC needs."
