"I couldn't find the category for gas piping. This Father and son team replaced a gas pipe to my outdoor grill that was leaking. They removed the old leaking pipe and installed a new black iron pipe and painted it and did an excellent job. They took the time to explain everything to me while they did the job and even took photos in the crawl space so I can see without having to go in there myself."

"Trident Plumbing was a life saver. Our new home (2021) has had issues with a guest bath since day one. Consistently stopping up. Landon from Trident came out the first visit, pulled the commode and scoped the drain pipes. Everything looked OK. The problem continued. I called another plumber and he told us the problem had to be in the septic system. I called a Septic Company and had our septic system inspected. Everything looked ok. After almost two years of issues I called Trident one last time. There had to be a reason. Matthew Gardner came out and crawled under the house to try and find an answer. He found the vent for that bathroom was not located correctly and was the root of the problem. Luckily the home was still covered by the new home warranty so the builder gladly came back and reconfigured the drain pipes for that bathroom. Thanks again to Matthew for being able to spot the problem! Trident was very professional and great to work with. I highly recommend."

"We had a pipe break resulting in water damage. Mad Pipers was recommended by the restoration company. We called. Zach and Reagan were prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with both on the phone and in person. When they arrived they rapidly found the leak and repaired it. Glad we followed up on the recommendation!"

"Kyle saved the day for me, fixing a couple of problems on my non-standard cabin plumbing system. He replaced a failing pump and then later diagnosed a completely clogged drain, which necessitated a new gray water drain field. Quotes were fair and accurate, and he had good tips for preventing problems in the future. I rent the cabin to guests, and I appreciate that Kyle was considerate to schedule work with minimal disruption to the cabin’s availability. I have peace of mind knowing I can count on Chaplin’s Plumbing for any plumbing needs."

"Tom installed a garbage disposal for me, very quickly after I requested this! He is very professional and followed through with all of the problems my situation offered - as my house is older and the pipes are not geographically desirable for this! I appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond to make sure I was up and running. Wonderful experience and I will gladly hire him for any other plumbing needs!"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Pinehurst, WA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
