"Before calling Exterior Energy Consultants (EEC) we met with 5 other replacement window companies in the Kansas City area. None of them could provide exactly what we wanted in the colors we wanted and all frankly were out of our budget. In desperation, we were referred to Tim with EEC by a neighbor. Tim has been in the business a long time but when we sat down with him, he put us completely at ease. Tim said he could give us exactly what we wanted at a price within our budget. To say he delivered on his word is an understatement. Mike Smith was scheduled to do our installation and he was extremely proficient, courteous, and considerate. He repeatedly told us he would not leave the job site until we were 100% satisfied and happy with this work. During installation, considerable wood rot was revealed under one window which required removal of the lap siding, exterior trim, OSB panel, and even several studs. Tim gave us a reasonable price and Mike performed the repairs expertly. We will never find a better team than these two and a better company to do business with than EEC. For what its worth, we decided going in to have the brick mould, stop, and sill replaced as part of each window installation. We are glad we did otherwise the wood rot would not have been revealed until after much more damage occurred. The additional cost with EEC was reasonable and well worth it as the finished product is much more attractive than a typical "wrap" installation as it is called in the industry."

"Justin came over and went over the Provia doors that they install. We had this brand of door on a former house, and this is why we picked John County Siding and Window. We picked a fiberglass front door that matched the wood in our house with beautiful sidelights different patterns of glass and a full glass storm door. The other two door were also wood patterned fiberglass, but only the back door got a full glass storm door. Justin answered all of our questions and sent pictures of what the doors will look like when finished. He was very patient with us and our indecisions! The installers were great! Both were very conscientious about doing a good job and not leaving a mess. We were consulted throughout the installation and made extra sure that we received the correct doors and the instructions were correct. All corners matched perfect! All of the doors were adjusted to close perfectly! I don't even saw any fingerprints on the glass! What a smooth installation. The job took most of three days, but was worth it. I've had many compliments on the front door, since it is visible from the street. Thank you!"

"I cannot say enough good things about this company. Anthony carefully inspected my attic and took pictures of the problem areas. None of the other companies did that thorough of an estimate. Anthony's bid was for R50 - others just R30. Anthony and his worker worked very hard for 3 days insulating my attic. They used pink foamboard on areas where cellulous could not be sprayed in. They also drilled holes in the ceiling on areas that could not be reached in the attic. They took great care to make sure my carpets and furniture were protected. I asked about how to apply the pink foamboard to the outer walls in my basement and came home on the second day to find that they did that as well for no additional cost. I felt comfortable leaving my home to go to work while Anthony and his worker did the job. I chose Anthony's company to do this work because his estimate was $500.00 less than the other companies and he is a decent human being (you will know what I mean after you talk to him awhile)."
