"Pre-job communication went smoothly, and we were able to schedule an appointment within two weeks. Furnace cleaning, which I didn’t need, was part of the package, but they agreed to substitute the dryer vent cleaning for no additional fee. They followed up few days ahead to confirm. Due to a local shortage of manpower on the work day they had to send a team from farther away. They contacted me at the appointment time and said arrival would be about two hours late. The team arrived in about 90 minutes. The three technicians were friendly and professional, and led by Florien who walked through the house with me to preview the work. Once underway, the men worked quickly to efficiently clean 14 vents and one trunk and the dryer vent, and the job was completed well within two hours. I was impressed by how they all maintained their friendly good humor despite having to work in enclosed spaces on a very hot and humid day. The job was completed at the quoted price, and Florien did not attempt to up-sell any additional services. In fact, they included application of a rodent repellent at my request for no additional charge. Also, I have heard that some service providers may play upon a customer’s fear of fire hazard to sell them a replacement dryer vent hose at a markup. Only when I asked about it did Florien quote me a reasonable $20 for one if it looked like I needed it. Upon cleaning he determined it wasn’t necessary. All around a good experience and we’re glad to have it done. Would hire them again."

"It did went well. I did like, there was a gentlemen that came out that was very professional I thought he did a nice job. Well I think the only criticism I had is I guess he went around and essentially evaded the house. I guess I was just probably expecting a little bit more than just kinda putting out bait traps. He was very professional, he was very nice so nothing bad or critical to say about the individual they sent he was very respectful and professional. I guess just for like overall service I guess I was just expecting more."

"It was GREAT from start to finish.  The head of the company came out to do the estimate, and provided a very clear explanation of how the work would go and what our options might be.  They measured a nd ordered the windows, and scheduled the install for the specific dates we wanted.  When the date came, they did the work in a single day, and were professional and careful throughout the process.  All along, their office communication was clear and they were responsive and helpful.  The windows look wonderful and I think they will make a big difference in energy efficiency.  It was a terrific experience, and I'd highly recommend Vista.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
