"The team at Dana Insulation is top notch. From Tom in sales to the installation team everyone was courteous and professional. They put down protective plastic on the floors so as not to get any dirt or insulation on the floors. Did a great job cleaning up after the job as well. Thank you very much Dana Insulation!!!! I would definitely recommend this company!!!"

"The Insulation Man was a pleasure to work with. Melissa the person who I spoke to on the phone multiple times was always friendly and kind. Jerry who came out to my house was knowledgeable, never pushy, and answered all of my questions. He sent documentation and responses in a timely manner and even took extra time out of his day to send me some links of things I asked for. Their prices were lower than all other companies that quoted us (for the same exact work). I was home on the 2 days where the insulation was put in, and the people completing the work were respectful and always seemed to be working very efficiently. On the second day it started to rain and they stayed to complete the work, even though they got wet. Overall, this was a great experience and I would recommend this company!"

"I had Retrofoam insulate my 1870s vintage home back around 2014.and was thrilled with the energy savings and the feel in the house- let alone the street noise reduction. I didn't realize that having the floor joist done under my main floor in my Michigan basement that I was a) losing so much heat b) having so many critters able to get into the house, and c) still had a lot of street noise in the house. The guys were on time, the deal was clearly presented, the cleanup was 100% and the site boss was great at making sure the job was complete."

"They just finished up with us and we were blown away at their professionalism and hard work. The crew was caring and incredibly clean- the place was left without any trash, etc. They also did things we didn't ask them to, like install a new doorbell and fix our garage door. I would highly recommend them!"

"<p>Jon and his assistants were here just about every day getting this large project done as quickly as possible.  </p> <p>We are on a slab and experienced some water seeping up through the concrete so we needed someone to help provide a solution that would last.  Jon carefully researched and investigated the best solution for this challenging situation.  We are confident that the issue is resolved.  It is obvious when you see how beautiful the resulting floor is that Jon takes pride in his work.</p> <p>The bathroom needed to be completely gutted, other than re-glazing the tub.  We were not completely sure going into the project what we wanted to do, but Jon gave some great advise and patiently let us make changes as we came to our final decisions.  The result is awesome!  Jon did a beautiful job!</p> <p>There were a couple products that were shipped with defects that Jon pointed out and made adjustments to the plan so that the project could keep moving.  The shower door was one of those items that needed to wait to be completed after everything else was done.  Jon came back soon after the parts were available to finish.</p> <p>The kitchen backsplash was a joint effort between Jon and his tile expert brother Eric.  It is fantastic!  The skill of these two with tile cannot be understated.</p> <p>Finally Jon runs his business professionally, which is appreciated.  Each change we requested was carefully quoted and he patiently answered all our questions.  One of the reasons we selected Jon was the attention he gave us at the initial visit to understand our needs and carefully prepare the initial quote.</p> <br />"

"The installation of the roof went fairly quick and looks good. I have two issues. One (minor) was why some (two) of the gutters weren't secured to the side of the house and the ventilation windows for the attic that were to be installed. The latter is the focus of this review. The issue is that we were told the ventilation windows required custom build and had to be outsource, as our window size was not a standard size. On May 2nd, 2018, I was told that the estimate from Wimsatt, the vendor, would be 12 - 14 days. Roof Rite was paid in full in mid May with the agreed understanding that the vents for the attic would be installed immediately afterwards. It is now December 2018 and there has been no installation of the vents. I have been in touch with the site PM via text messages on a monthly basis, but have not received any indication that this task would be completed. NOTES and CLARIFICATIONS: The site PM said that there would be no cost for the manual labor of the installation, and the vents would be installed as a courtesy provided that I purchase the two vents. This was more of a gentleman's agreement than contractual. This is my error for believing and accepting that offer and is a lesson learned. The site PM said that should I want to install the vents myself, they could be dropped off. Seeing how I neither had the tools or laddering/scaffolding (a reason why I hired the company and requested the professionals complete the work), the offer seemed to imply that I had to wait until the company was good and ready to deal with me. In summary, the company has been paid in full, I have been asking for over 7 months on the installation of the vents and, in my eyes, the project has not been completed. There are ways to continue the working relationship if additional funding is required for work. In my line of work, that is called a 'change request'. To just ignore the issue ruins working relationships and ultimately damages the reputation of the vendor/implementation team. Please correct this."

"Job went well. Some unexpected problems with the wiring behind walls. Drove the cost up a little but they made sure the job was done right. Had to have them come back to do some repair work on the hardwood floors. The floors separated a little bit due to a lack of humidity in the house. Wasn't their fault, but they had no problem fixing it for us. Very professional, hard working and trustworthy. They also did a full finished basement for my parents which turned out fantastic. They may cost a little more, but you definitly get what you pay for. <br />"

"I contacted WeatherGard. I believed based on my own research that WeatherGard was the best option of every other company in their same lane. I did not want any fast talking salesman and told the lady on the phone that whoever contacts me back please be good! The sales manager first contacted me. He was extremely professional and very nice. We set up a Zoom call. I wanted a ballpark figure to get an idea. He was able to help me with that over the phone. It was a bit more at first than I thought, but still much less than Anderson. The owner was so good. His demeanor was as patient and honest as it could be. He helped us on selection and pricing to really make us feel good about my moving forward. With a slight bit of back and forth, I could not see myself even thinking of calling any other companies. Shlome the owner flat out sold me on himself and his company and why I should go with them. I cannot say enough good things about how they handled us. This was such a breath of fresh air because trying to find a good and honest company to do business with in the Midwest can be very challenging. Shlome had the knowledge, patience, professionalism without any high pressure or poor sales techniques. He showed me pictures and even what he did in his own home. WeatherGard to be the one. My wife and I made the drive to meet Shlome at his headquarters in Oak Park. He had a mask on when we arrived. It was the weekend and he met us there and again took all the time we needed face to face. We looked in the showroom and I sat down with Shlome and told him what we wanted. We have decided we wanted all the doors and windows for our 5,000 sq. foot home to be white on the inside and black on the outside. My office I wanted wood grain to match the woodwork. He showed me their wood grain finish. Not a laminate or sticker, but more of a dip. Super look. Not cheap at all. It would take some time to get the job ready for install. We left happy. We felt relieved with WeatherGard and excited. We loved how the windows had more than just 1 seal. My wife did not want bugs or air coming in and with their windows we see that is not going to happen. All Cardinal glass. Looked great. My job is ready for install. Chris, his brother on his crew Todd and Joe all showed up. They are so good! They are so professional. Yes they had masks on and they covered things in our home, used drop cloths everywhere and cardboard to walk on so not to damage our floors. They cleaned up after themselves. They never got annoyed with me watching them or asking a million questions. They used so much insulation which was my big thing. They made sure every window and door went in level and perfect and with all the foam and insulation they could possibly fit. This is their normal. They did not rush, they took their time. I’m telling anyone who is reading this, that this has been one of, if not the best experience of home re-mod I have ever had in my life. They were here 4 days in total. They trimmed everything so darn beautiful inside and out. I told them that as good as the product looked in the showroom that I felt it actually looked better installed in my home. I could not be happier. I tipped all 3 installers $200 each. I was not sure how much to tip them. I always like to tip workers when they are good and work hard and handle me with care. I just felt $50 or $100 would have been in insult. I don’t think they even expected it, but for me it’s just how I am. They were so gracious and so appreciative of my tip. As crazy as this sounds, I am sorry to see this crew leave and feel like this experience was so good that I did not want it to come to an end. How crazy is that?? It was like having friends come stay and vacation with you and when they leave to go home, you feel depressed for a day. I know, but I am telling you I am over the moon with WeatherGard, their approach, their management, their installers, their product and the entire experience from the moment they returned my call to the moment they pulled away from my completed job."
