"I called Ray's and was able to set up a time quite easily. They provided a time range for the technician to show up; mine was 3-5pm (technician showed shortly after 3). Technician's name was Rod, he was very professional and insightful. He didn't mind me lingering around, shared details on what he was doing and answered my questions. I live in a very old house and the HVAC unit is probably a bit over 20 years old. I was anticipating Rod to up-sell me on services, a new machine and tell me all the new things I needed; instead, he told me the machine is outdated, but working properly. He informed me it would be in my best interest to buy a new part for the outdoor unit (the name slips my mind at the moment), but didn't pressured me with sale pitches or scare tactics. The outdoor unit was filled with dirt and debris that had fallen into the machine over the years; Rod took the time to thoroughly clean through the machine with my hose (I mean literally, he was taking pales of dirt out). I was quite pleased with the experience and would use them again.

"On the routine service, it's usually done in less than an hour.  They always clean up.  I know when they do the annual service and they're checking out the system they're very complete.  They check both the air inlet inside and the air exchange system outside.  They go through the whole system.  They even check out the duct work."
