"He asked me some questions and then sent me a quote right away, which I appreciated. He told me he thought it might take him a day to a day and a half to do all the work, which seemed like a long time considering we had taken all the siding off the house and the job was very simple. We talked and texted a few times before he came to make sure everything was ready and he was very responsive. He showed up on time to do the work, I let him in and left for work and told him I'd stop by at lunch to see how he was doing. He called me at 11am to tell me he'd be done by lunch. It's hard to see the quality of the work because it's all behind the walls, but it seemed like he drilled into every stud bay and filled it from the outside. In some areas he wasn't able to do it from the outside, so he drilled inside and then filled the holes. It seems to be a thoroughly done job and anything is better than no insulation, so it should lower our bills."

"I have nothing but good things to say about Colin and the team. They are professional, brought in an army to stay on track with timelines, and left the place looking better than it was before they started. They re-painted and finished the job better than expected. We could hear a pin drop upstairs before they came and it's now 80% better. We can hear them occasionally walking on the hard floor but no music, or anything else. We could hear their dog running up the hall, and no longer. The one thing to be aware of is that it's a full scale renovation that results in a lot of dust. It takes time to get every surface clean again but that's the only difficulty. They even fixed exposed cable wires in the ceiling and did additional aesthetic things that was not in the contract because "it made sense while the ceiling was open". We are the 4th in our building to use them and they continue getting business from our neighbors. They come highly recommended."

"The project went very well and I very impressed with this company. They run a tight ship. They called a few days before the appointment to confirm and showed up on time. The job itself can be very messy. They covered the floors and furniture while they worked to protect everything. They completed the job in very good time. The clean up was unprecedented. Not only did they vacuum everywhere but they mopped the floors as well. I am used to contractors usually leaving a big mess. Very few contractors will clean up after themselves like this company. I was running around cleaning up and they told me to stop and said they would take care of it. I was pleasantly surprised when they actually did and was so thorough. The owners son, Richard, was directing all the workers. I did not rate them on price as they were the only company I called so I am not sure how they stand up to the competition. They charged $1450.00 for 54" linear feet to insulate. The walls were a standard height. The cavity they filled was very small but they didn't take that into consideration. Overall I was very pleased the professionalism of this company and can highly recommend them without hesitation."

He was extremely professional, responsive and was very quick on getting back to us on any questions or concerns we had. "Expensive but necessary and worth it. Everything was professional from beginning to end. The inspection performed by Mark confirmed my suspicion that the attic needed to be decontaminated and rodent-proofed. Walking around my attic was tricky because the existing cellulose insulation was too thick and made it difficult to see where to step. Among four other companies that I hired for a free inspection, Mark was the only one who was able to walk around and inspect the attic by carefully sweeping aside the existing insulation. He informed me the pros and cons. The major con was that the existing insulation (which was recently installed by another company, Coastal Insulation) needed to be replaced. I also learned that there were no baffles installed even though this was part of the contract I had with the other company. I had no idea. In order to alleviate the expenses, Mark called the office and was able to get me a considerable discount and waived some fees. On top of that, he was able to accommodate an appointment for me within a week of the inspection. On the day of the job, the workers came on time (it was raining that day). They all wore biohazard suits and booties and carefully covered the floor, stairs and furniture with plastic. The lead worker, Francisco, constantly informed me of concerns, showed me pictures and answered my questions. They finished the job within 5 hours. Francisco vacuumed my stairs and the crew was sweeping my front yard at the end of the day. Mark also returned to ensure everything was done correctly. I had to request a follow-up appointment two weeks later to make sure that the baffles are in place after one night when it was extremely windy. Mark was unavailable but Joseph arrived and was just as professional. He assured me that the baffles are indeed intact and he inspected the rest of the attic to make sure nothing was disturbed. If you need peace of mind for an expensive but necessary home improvement, then Atticrawl is definitely worth it."
