"This is the 2nd time I've hired Energy Attic to install foil barrier and additional insulation into my attic, as well as 3 additional solar fans on the roof. Everyone from Kristina in the office, to Travis in sales, to Guy and Randy checking in several times, and Paco and his excellent team of installers - were outstanding and professional in every way! This is the 2nd house in Flower Mound we've lived in, and having this work done was a priority on our checklist, given the success of lowering utility costs in my former house. Having foil barrier in the attic dramatically lowers the temperature inside, which in Texas summers can be 120 degrees or more. The foil barrier keeps out the heat. You can actually store things in the attic if you want to. Also it doesn't interfere if you have to get your roof repaired or replaced like I did in 2017 due to a major hail storm. I had the team blow in enough insulation to bring the r value up to 49 and they did a very thorough and clean job. The 3 solar fans look great and provide additional ventilation. Don't be fooled by painted barrier companies, because paint degrades. Foil barrier is permanent. Energy Attic examines your entire house and offers solid recommendations and the best possible solutions, while providing services that mean a difference in the cost of gas and electricity. "We had no insulation in our attic, and to "save" money, we went to Home Depot and priced what it would cost us to do it ourselves. I had called several companies, but they quoted me more than we could do it ourselves.  Since we don't have a truck, we were also going to have to rent a truck to haul it all in.  We based us doing it ourselves on blowing in enough insulation to reach an R-44 level.  With supplies and truck rental, our cost was going to be around $1400 - $1500, and that was using the good Owens Corning insulation.  My boss had just had her house done the previous Saturday by H & K Insulation, and she told me I should call Hector and see what he would charge.  His cost to do our house was $1,000, and that included installing baffles in the rafters, PLUS blowing deeper to an R-49 level !!!!  I told him my husband and I work 7 days a week and would have to take a vacation day to be there, so, even though he was already booked, he went out of his way to be here at 6:30 am  (and he was here at 6:30 am on the dot) and worked us in before he started his regular day.  WOW!  How many companies are willing to do that?  Plus, he uses Owens Corning insulation, as well, so you are getting the top of the line product.  It took them 2 hours to do it all, and that was going from zero insulation to R-49, which is a ton of stuff.  And you will be totally impressed with Hector and his helper -- they are absolutely the most polite, well-mannered and friendly people you will ever deal with and they vacuumed up any mess that was made.  I am so thankful my boss told me about them, because I was really, really dreading getting up there and doing that.  So it was a dream come true when we could get it done faster and cheaper by a professional.  Seriously, folks, give Hector a call.  I think you will be as impressed as we are!"
