"When my husband closed the garage door when he left for work I heard a loud thud from the garage.  Upon investigating, I discovered that one of the overhead springs had snapped.  I called Pride at 8:30am.  My call was handled by a polite woman who answered my questions and gave me a quote.  She told me that someone could be at my home between 10 and 11 today, no extra charges.  They showed up on time, but had to come back because the carpet cleaner was at my house.  They came back around 1:30.  Installed the new springs quickly and efficiently.  When they were looking over the whole door system it was discovered that the cables that help raise the door were fraying.  I was told the price to replace them was $40, I thought this was fair so they set to work.  They did a great job, no mess, very polite, respectful and courteous.  A big plus was that they are so thorough they found another potential problem before it caused a HUGE problem; those cables could have broken and  the very large and heavy door could have landed on us or our cars!  I learned a lesson to check ALL the parts of the garage door from time to time! 
  We will definitely hire this company again, as they are very knowledgeable and great to work with!"

Benchmark was punctual, and repaired the broken spring on the 16x8 overhead door. informed them that one of the lights was not

working on the opener. They checked it out and repaired the socket. Greased and adjusted all doors. They were very professional

and the total job did not take them more than one hour.

"Shotty work from another contractor from the previous owners of this house left us with leaky windows a few weeks after we moved in. When I called them to revisit their work, it was clear they had no idea what they were doing.  They never caulked around the windows after putting them back in and did a sloppy job after I called them back over.   I called LDS and even though their schedule was super busy, he squeezed me in the next day to at least take a look at the issue. Ronnie knew right away that they used the wrong caulk.  Since he wasn't able to see what the previous contractors did to the windows, Ronnie caulked around the windows with the proper materials hoping that would resolve the leaking issue.  Had a minor smaller leak several weeks later when the temperatures dropped and Ronnie came back over to touch up weak areas.  So far, we haven't had any more issues but I feel confident that if we did, LDS would come back out to do the necessary repairs.  Great communication and reliable service, would definitely call again.

"Originally called for quote on 2 garage door openers. Was quoted $750 for both including remotes and external keypad. Company called back and said they had a special, lowering the price to $704. Upon inspection, installer found a broken spring (legitimate) and said he would have to return the next day with parts. (additional $190 per door) Installer returned next day and replaced springs on both doors and installed openers. Work was done to satisfaction and both doors operate much better than before. Felt we received a very fair deal from this company and would recommend and use them again."

"Roy did an amazing job. Looks better than it ever did. After interviewing several local resources it was clear that Roy knew the ins and outs of Hardie as well as the manufacturers guidelines. Many of the homes in the area that have Hardie do not have it installed properly. This leads to deterioration and is not covered under warranty. Roy is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Alan and team were also top notch. I would use again in a heartbeat."

" Installed 16 windows in June 2013.  Almost 4 years later (Jan., 2017) one of the windows cracked.  Called Albar and sent a text photo of the cracked window.  They said it was a pressure crack and ordered a replacement from the factory.  They called me when it was ready.  I picked it up. They showed me how to remove the damaged window and put in the new one.  It was very simple even for a woman in the 60s with no construction experience (although you can have it done for you for a service fee).  I popped out the old one and popped in the new one.  No Charge.  This company is there for you even long after the sale is completed."
