After showing me his concern (legitimate) I asked for a quote to replace. Outrageously expensive considering cost of materials. Later learned techs are incentivized to sell service and parts. Dropped them as my go to plumbing and heating guys. Water heater still working 3years after urgent replacement was quoted"
