"We suffered water damage to the hickory floor in our home after the storms of January & February 2023. We contacted Clark’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. for help. We were very happy with Clark’s through all phases of refinishing, from the initial estimate through job completion. Their estimate was significantly lower than a competitor’s bid, their office staff was delightful to deal with, and their refinishing crew was superb. Our refinishing crew was Jorge (lead) and Nidiro. Jorge let us know exactly what to expect and when, which helped us plan our own activities around the job. They used the “atomic dust-free system” to sand off the old finish. It really was dust free! They were thorough and meticulous in everything they did. And, although the old finish was removed completely along baseboards and in every nook and cranny, our baseboards were not even nicked! Every flaw in the floor was meticulously addressed. These guys were excellent craftsmen! Because we had had issues in front of the kitchen sink, at Larry Moreno’s suggestion the new finish was completed with Traffic Commercial Grade polyurethane. The result was stunning! Our hickory floor looks better than ever before! We are thrilled with the results! All our interactions with Clark’s have been excellent! We recommend them highly!"

"When I called for an estimate I was surprised at how quickly Mr. Straus was able to come. I knew the carpeting I wanted and he was able to get it in a reasonable time. (The carpet had to be run specially by the manufacturer.) When my remodel slowed down, he was very flexible about re-scheduling the date of installation to meet my new needs. The installation was painless, with workers arriving exactly when they said they would, cleaning up after themselves, and making seams that were almost invisible, with a single exception. When I wrote Mr. Straus that my worry was not about the lack of invisibility of a single seam but the fear it might unravel with time. He guaranteed he would fix it if that happened. "If you need a handyman, Carlos Painting and Handyman services are absolutely the way to go! From the first correspondence, Carlos was professional and prompt.  His work (and that of his very capable assistant Luis)  included the following:

• *installing doorknobs and smoke alarms,

*sealing, priming and painting the outside of our living room and dining room windows,
