Follow up: I made my decision and signed the contract. Best decision I could have made. They were thousands of dollars less for the exact same equipment than 3 other companies I got estimates from. When challenged none of the other companies could revise their estimate to even come close. Southland is a Mitsubishi diamond dealer so I got full Mitsubishi warranties plus 1 year from Southland of parts and service. The day the installers arrived, on time, it was raining. Jamie and Ricardo used the utmost care to protect my home. They covered the floors, moved and covered the furniture and made sure before they left that I fully understood how to use the remote and operate the equipment. Donny assured me he and his crew could put a duct there. Sure enough they were able to do it resulting in saving us some money. As for the installation crew, they're top notch.
