"I’ve used Hooks Maintenance Solutions several times. The past time was just two months ago when my AC wasn’t cooling. I called HMS (Wesley) and he came right over and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He added some Freon to my unit and gave me some tips on how to keep it cooled down in this Texas heat. Within a couple of hours my house was cool again. I would give HMS a 5 plus for the efficiency, knowledge, and overall customer service. Wesley goes above & beyond for his customers. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
