"Pros - Provider was very responsive and communication was excellent. I used Angie’s List to request quotes and this provider responded within an hour. Work was scheduled quickly. - Service technician called ahead, was polite, and took the time to explain the process and the work that was to be completed. - Pricing was very good (if requirements were met – see below). Cons - Six registers (@$15/each) located in the finished basement ceiling were very likely not cleaned as the louvers are kept shut in the summer months and cannot possibly be opened without using a step ladder. No ladder was used by the service technician other than one provided by me for access to the main trunk lines. Step ladder was provided after discovering technician using a chair to stand on. - Access holes drilled into the basement duct work left shards of metal on the floor that were not vacuumed or swept at the completion of the work. A few pieces of sharp metal were later found tracked onto a carpeted stairwell. - Debris was found on the floor and on furniture around a few of the return vents, likely a result of the compressed air used to clean the grill. Although I suspect this may be common and normal, I also suspect leaving it there for the homeowner to clean up is not. - Technician did not wear protective shoe covers when walking across carpeting as is typical for most in-home service work. This is particularly notable for a company also in the carpet cleaning business."

"The company was great to deal with and I'll probably go with them when I need plumbing services in the future. They scheduled my appointment, but when Jim reviewed the service I'd requested, he called and explained it was outside their area of expertise. My problem involves an container and pump located outside my house and he was not confident they could complete service on the unit and suggested I contact another specialty, which I will now do with the help of Angie's List. I appreciate both their honesty and promptness."

"Oh my gosh!  If your basement ever floods, you absolutely MUST call this company.  I discovered our basement had flooded, and was continuing to flood two days after Christmas, due to the failure of our sump pump, while we were getting days and days of rain.  My husband was out of town, and I panicked.  I had no idea who to call, so I went to Angie's List.  I looked for a company that had the best ratings and reviews, and fortunately, I found Paramount Restoration.  I called them, and they were here in an hour.  They were extremely professional, polite, and reassuring.  Robert was the gentleman who represented the company, explaining how everything would work, patiently answering all of my questions.  The team moved everything in my basement to the center of the room, took pictures and moisture readings for our homeowner's insurance company, removed the carpet and pad, and set up 16 industrial fans to start the drying process.  I also had a very expensive, large wool rug down on the floor, which was saturated, so they arranged for A-One Fabric Restoration to come pick up the rug and professionally clean it.  When Robert left my house that first day, he gave me his cell phone number, and told me that if anything happened (like a fuse were to blow) or if I had any concern, to call him, regardless of the time of day.  Robert came to our house every day to check on the equipment, and to take additional moisture readings.  Each day, he assured me that everything was headed in the right direction.  On the fourth day, Robert removed the fans, as everything was dry.  We did not lose any of our drywall or base trim.  Paramount Restoration took care of everything.  They treated our belongings and our concerns with respect, and they dealt directly with our insurance company.  They made a terrible event go as smoothly as it could have gone.  I hope we never have to call them again, but would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

"Greg went above and beyond with his support and service. It could not have been easier to get help when I needed it the most. Everything he did was handled with professionalism and care. Took the guess work out of everything. We had a decent water leak that went unnoticed, and caused some minor damage, but with Gregâ s help we were able to minimize that damage and offset cost of repairs. â This could have been a lot worseâ - my contract. Hope to never have to use their services again, but 100% will be calling them back! Thanks again!"

"A&D Specialty Services is amazing! Doug, Dougie & Mike are our family now. We had original water damage upstairs that effected a huge area. They came the same day I called and setup everything to get us dried out. Their build back for that damage is amazing! It looks like we have a whole new house. Less than a week after we had original water damage our water heater expansion tank broke. So our water heater exploded (adding insult to injury). I called Dougie at like 2am and he got up, got his equipment and came to our house at 5 o'clock in the morning to come take care of the issue. He installed a new water heater took out the old water heater, and got everything squared away to dry out the basement. I refer them to everyone I know! They are always professional, very reliable and treat you like family. I will always go to them first for any service they can provide. Thank you for all you guys have done and continue to do!!!!"

One of the son's of the company owner came in and gave us an estimate. He was very easy to talk with, professional and fully answered our questions. He broke the estimate down into different jobs that they recommended and we decided what we wanted to have done at that time. Our main focus was on stablizing our floors, as we had squeaks, doors that wouldn't close or stay open, etc. The crew, led by another son of the company owner, were at our home for three days and were very professional and understanding of our need to keep dust and dirt in the house to a minimum due to the husband's illness. They took care to clean up and not carry dirt through out the home.

We had an immediate change with doors and floors feeling more stable. The tiled kitchen floor stopped squeaking. They recommended making no changes in wall repair or windows or doors until everything settled fully after three months. We also decided to have the crawl space covered and all vents closed off, which moderates the temperature in the crawl space and cuts down on dirt and bugs getting in. Each day, we got an update on progress and when the job was complete, the crew leader took pictures of the space to show us what had been completed and explained the work that was done.

Although the cost was high, the work done was an obvious advantage to our home. From others we've talked with who have had similar foundation repairs, the cost is always high.

Overall, we were very happy with the company and crew and would recommend it to anyone needing this type of home repair."

"when my wife called to tell me that she walked into our new indoor pond i rushed home to investigate and called a few mater mitigation / restoration companies. servpro , calloway and a few others. without question calloway was the frendliest of the lot and as it turned out the most responsive. servpro took down my information ans said that someone would call me back to schedule and inspection and to start work. Calloway let me know how busy they were and gave me an approximate window of later that afternoon. their window had another hour or so left when the service techs called to let me know they were running about 2-3 hours later than planned. wanted to know if they should still come out or to reschedule. first thaw after a massive freeze left many others in my same situation so i'll be home. they showed up in the improved time window and really got to work. 
tore out a ceiling and sealed off areas. placed giant dehumidifiers and fans everywhere. 
came back out the next day to continue demo. staff was great to work with and professional. a few days later they came to collect their equipment from a dry house. they left a somewhat dirt house, but given what they did it was to be expected. plaster and drywall both out of a 150 year old house tends to create some dust. because they sealed off the impacted areas it was very well contained. 
i had some billing questions but those were rectified immediately.  also a huge plus! they offer a $250 discount if you mention it. 
hopefully i will not ever have to use them again but if i needed to i would call them first. 
servpro ended up calling me to schedule their visit after calloway had already completed the demo and haul away service!!!
