For a simple toilet tank rebuild, with all parts provided by me, an hours worth of work, I was estimated at 570 dollars. It's on me for not realizing when I signed the dotted line that I got ripped off, retrospect is 20/20, but I cannot believe that they are willing to take advantage of people to this degree. After further research, other plumbers, bonded and insured or not, charge anywhere from 120 to 350 at most for the job I described above. At the end of the day, it's on me for being a sucker, but I know now not to trust Angi's approval rating before moving forward. The ONLY reason I am not giving them a one star: The actual plumber who did the work (Jared) did a fantastic job and was incredibly nice and professional. The operations manager who I spoke with (Brayden), although I don't believe most of what he told me, did end up giving me a slight discount (15%). "
