"We moved into our house in the winter and found out that the 70 year old insulation was quite deteriorated and moldy in the fall. We decided to have the old insulation removed so that we could cut down on heating bills and get rid of the smell. I contacted several companies and interacted with Joe from Good Life as the salesperson. He was kind enough to come to our house twice as the scope of the project changed. Both times, he drafted the proposal right at the end of the visit. His professionalism and the quoted price convinced us to go with Good Life Energy Savers. On day 1, the first crew came to remove the old insulation from the attic and used open cell spray foam to insulate the basement rim joists. On day 2, a second crew came to apply blown-in fiberglass insulation in the attic. Please note that the material they use is not irritant at all. Both crews worked really hard and cleaned up very well after they were done. I was especially impressed with the job 1st crew did to remove the old insulation from the slopes on a cathedral ceiling. My only minor complaint is regarding the patch in the ceiling at the end of the job. The guys used paper tape and there were bubbles all around. I guess they were very tired at the end of the day. Initially, I was planning to paint the room myself to cover the patch. But after removing the paper tape (due to bubbles) and using fiber mesh tape and joint compound, I figured I wouldn't be able to smooth the edges of the patch perfectly and hired a professional. Overall, it is a great company that provides quality job at a reasonable price. With the new insulation, the furnace runs much less frequently and I am pretty sure the job will pay for itself very in a few years."

"Did a very thorough and professional job insulating above our garage, crawl space, and attic areas. We felt the difference after the first day, even though the project wasn't finished. They had a large team to make quick work of the whole project. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and willing to answer any questions and walk me through what they did and status. We were home the whole time during the project and they were clean and respectful. One thing that could be improved was maybe because they are a fairly large team with communication having to go from the top down (and maybe because they moved our project up a few weeks, so it was short notice), they missed a couple areas initially they planned to insulate. However, it was no issue once I reached out, they were extremely friendly and professional in coming back to make sure everything was completed as planned."

"I have nothing but good things to say about Colin and the team. They are professional, brought in an army to stay on track with timelines, and left the place looking better than it was before they started. They re-painted and finished the job better than expected. We could hear a pin drop upstairs before they came and it's now 80% better. We can hear them occasionally walking on the hard floor but no music, or anything else. We could hear their dog running up the hall, and no longer. The one thing to be aware of is that it's a full scale renovation that results in a lot of dust. It takes time to get every surface clean again but that's the only difficulty. They even fixed exposed cable wires in the ceiling and did additional aesthetic things that was not in the contract because "it made sense while the ceiling was open". We are the 4th in our building to use them and they continue getting business from our neighbors. They come highly recommended."

"The whole experience went very well. I actually chose Econotherm based on the materials that they used and the professionalism of the audit staff. The Econotherm Staff showed up on time, applied all the insulation and waited for the after insulation audit in case <br /> <br />any leaks were found. Not only did the house show a 20% improvement, the how was 50% more air tight after their work. That means the actual savings in heating will be more then was proposed. <br /> <br />The clean up after the job was well done and I do not have any complaints. You also have to admire a roofer who breaks off and starts his own company. I have a soft spot for those with an entrepreneurial spirit, improving the US economy. Justine was also exceedingly pleasant to deal with. Responsiveness ranks as my top priority when dealing with large home projects and Justine get full marks, always getting back to me within minutes. They didn't try upsell me or talk me into any extras, they did exactly what I asked for in a quality manner and at a competative price. The crew was friendly and fast. I only had to do some minor yard clean up after they left, which I was happy to do considering the scope of their work. "What I didn't realize was that the Triple Play was not really anything more than the technician turning on the system to make sure it was working. I was a bit annoyed to hear that when the technician, Gary, explained that to me. I'm particularly sensitive and put-off by offers that aren't as good as what they seem, HOWEVER, when I expressed that dismay to Gary - without any annoyance or disappointment when I told him I didn't need that because I was capable of turning the system and feeling if cold air was blowing out of the vents - without a sales-y tone or agenda, suggested I consider the regular maintenance, which included a thorough check of all components, comprehensive cleaning, filter changes, etc. He clearly explained exactly what he was going to do, answered about 15 follow up questions I gave the green light. I proceeded to follow him around, asking more questions, having him show me how the system worked and explaining things I was not aware of even as the homeowner. He was patient and took the time to show me some basic things that I could do in the future to keep the system in good shape without necessarily needing maintenance (like changing the filters). He told me the system was working great, which surprised me because I assume he would tell me something was wrong so he could sell me something. I was particularly shocked when he told me the system didn't need any coolant; I've heard ALL these HVAC companies ALWAYS tell homeowners they need coolant. Anyway, it took him about 2 hours and I stalked him most of the time and he was very thorough. I am satisfied and will plan to use Innovative Air in the Fall when it's time to have the furnace and hot water heater checked. Guys on the phone were nice, service seemed honest and complete."

"Working with Anthony was a pleasure. He was always responsive and helpful throughout the process. He provided project ideas and cost effective ways to save money while having a high end look. He was also extremely respectful of changes in plans/finishing details and still had the ability to compete the project on time.
