"Our oil furnace/HVAC could not be repaired. We purchased a new unit, the install went well thanks to two professional technicians from Delaware. Our issues began after a visit from an inspector arrived 6 days later. He wouldn't listen to any question and replied "If I answer that, I have to charge you!" We have no idea what he did to the new thermostat, new oil furnace, and/or to the AC condenser. We reported it within 6 days when the outside temperature was in the 80's. Today a technician was scheduled between 8am-12noon. I was told he would be a little late...Another call advised that he needed to be replaced with a technician that is knowledgeable about "Oil furnace/ HVAC systems"??? We are now at the mercy of a longer wait time and hope someone will show up today with the temperature rising in our home. Praying that all will be corrected at no additional cost to us."

He answered all my questions and explained the urgency of getting my unite replaced. He provided options for an upgraded unit and financing. Not only that, I was able to get a next day appointment for installation which was super helpful because it is been getting really cold overnight. I'd highly suggest hiring ARS of Maryland."

"There's no good month during Baltimore's summer to have your A/C fail. Should it happen to you, I can't recommend Vernon and the folks at Hamilton Plumbing more highly. The wife came home a day early from our vacation to find the A/C on the ground floor was dead. The temp was 87 inside the house. I called Hamilton from the road to make an appt and was contacted by Vernon soon after. He said he'd come by and look at the unit to see if he could troubleshoot the problem without access to the house. He called me back an hour later and said he had found two issues and replaced the parts but couldn't tell if the fix was complete until he could turn on the unit. He came back later that afternoon and checked the freon on the unit that went down and also checked the other unit for the upstairs, which it turned out was low on freon too. When he was done he explained in laymens terms what he'd found and detailed some other issues that were impacting performance but couldn't be fixed. Summation: these folks go beyond the norm to provide quality service with an emphasis on customer service. Vernon is a rock star, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Job well done."

My 1952 house was not equipped with a vent, nor proper traps for either the washing machine or sink. There were sewer gases backing up on occasion, into the sink area, which is of course unpleasant.

Robert installed the traps, then came back to add the vent to the outside of the house. He did not have to go through the attic and roof. The end result looks like it was built with the house, and blends in well with the exterior.

He responds to my need for help either instantly or within 24 hours, is professional and knows his business. Anyone he hires is up to his standards, and those are very high. Having a reliable and qualified plumber is key to survival, and for that need, I go to Robert!!

"Within an hour of purchasing the advertised special, Henry from B A R called us to set up an appointment for service. He seemed knowledgeable and showed up promptly to our appointed time. After working on the unit for about an hour he determined that the unit had died and there was no hope reviving it - it was 14 years old after all. WIthin a few days Henry was back and installed our new unit. Around the time he installed our unit, our second unit died. We had him replace it as well. The work was done in a timely manner and we have been completely satisfied. We would definitely hire B A R Appliances again for our HVAC needs."

"My sump pump float became dis-attached and was not operating correctly.  I called to have someone come out as soon as possible - and was referred by another plumbing company to Aqua.  The workers arrived within an hour, which was nice because I was needing to bail water and had to get to work.  They diagnosed correctly that the pump was disattached and reattached it so the pump would work.  They would have likely left and not charged me at that point.  The pump is old, plastic and finicky -  there is nothing like living with the uncertainty of it failing during a heavy rainfall.  They indicated it would be a good idea to replace the pump ... and I had been feeling that way for some time.  It is 5 years old.
They were going to come back the next day, but discovered that a local distributer had 2 pumps in stock.  They went out and had it installed within 30 minutes.  It is a nicely constructed solid cast iron pump with a float on a rigid pole.  It comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty and a one year installation warranty through Aqua.  I don't think the speed of response and installation could have gone better.  I do not know the average for sump pump installation.  The pump itself likely cost under $150.  But, I did not wish to attempt the installation.  So, I'll give it an A, as I believe it is likely at least an average price for the job.  And I have a lot of peace of mind.

"We had our 25 year old furnace bite the dust in February in the middle of a very cold and snowy week. A different company had come out and diagnosed it on a Friday but said that they wouldn't be able to get a quote for a replacement until Monday... Well... I had a pregnant wife and a one year old, so time was pretty critical for me. I called Green Comfort Systems Friday night at 9pm, they responded within an hour to set up an appointment, and they showed up the next day, Saturday morning. Even though furnaces were in low supply, they worked with me to quote different options based on availability. They called around Monday morning to find out what was in stock, updated the quote, and scheduled installation as soon as they could, which was Thursday. In the meantime, they offered me several space heaters to get us through the next few days, which was really appreciated. I had some concerns because there was a snowstorm overnight, but Emily kept in touch with me the whole time and ensured that they would do everything they could to make the appointment. They did indeed make it through the snow, and the installation team was very professional and nice. I can be annoying with questions, but they were very helpful walking me through any questions. They followed up a couple days after installation to make sure everything was good. I had a pretty minor concern about vibrations in the duct, and they sent the team back out to take a look and tweak the settings a bit, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was super happy with Green Comfort Systems. I think this is the first review I've ever made - so that says something. Emily and Kyle were amazing with their communication and speed which was super appreciated. The installation team was great, the follow-up was great, and the price was great too. I'll be using them for anything else HVAC related in the future."
