Quoted $2000 to repair. Didn't know how long heater would last and suggested new one. I agreed. Water runs through geothermal furnace. Took about 5 hours to change out because he had to wait for someone to bring new heater. He forgot to close something before turning water back on and got water on the floor. 2 days later I went to basement to get serial number from heater and there was water all over the floor. No reason to touch geothermal unit. Drain from humidifier was disconnected. Took couple of days to talk to anyone from company. "
