"From the first meeting with Matt when he gave us a timeline and our estimate, through the install and the walk through of finished work, it was all very well done. The installers were very polite and made sure that any flooring that they would be walking on or bringing out the old water heater on were completely covered to protect from any dirt or water. Any time we went to see if they needed anything they would tell us what they had gotten done and what they were working on. Not once were they short or put out as some people are when you are curious about what is going on in your house. I would use Lighthouse any time and have already told our friends how professional and caring they were about everything that went into our home and the proper working of it all before they left. They also did not take the last half of our payment until the final walk through which was 5 days after all work was completed. "Dana and his team did a great job preparing our house for move in. The team thoroughly cleaned the dryer duct line that had not been properly cleaned for several years; they cleaned out a high fire risk. They also installed two high quality vent guards to prevent birds and other critters from accessing the dryer duct and first floor bathroom exhaust duct. The team also cleaned the HVAC ducts on our house. They identified some mold in a few of the lines and replaced one of the worst lines. They also pointed out a couple of issues with the HVAC transitions that had tears in the flex line that exposed insulation and some mold on the interior insulation in a metal transition duct for the upstairs HVAC system; both were recommended for replacement or repair by a certified HVAC mechanic. Upon completion, they back-fogged each duct, replaced all vents (28 in total), filled gaps between the metal vent and ceilings on the second floor (should have been done when the house was constructed in 2003), and sanitized both HVAC zones. The mold, issues with the transitions and gaps between the metal vent openings and ceiling holes were not note by the home inspector prior to closing, and were not disclosed by the previous homeowner. Total cost for all the work was around $3300. While the price might seem high, the quality and thoroughness of the work completed, the professionalism and efficiency of the crew, and the large volume of work (cleaned 28 vent lines plus the the main trunk for each of two zones) was very reasonable for the time required and the labor quality. In our prior home, I used another local company who advertises through ValuePak to clean the ducts. Following their service I had issues with collapsed HVAC duct lines afterward that caused icing on the AC unit. Initially, the other company was significantly cheaper, but their work was shoddy, their technician was not as careful and diligent, and ended up costing about the same on a smaller house due to the problems caused by the cleaning. I highly recommend Dana and Airight. I will definitely be calling on them again for dryer vent line and duct cleaning in the future."

He gave us the information we needed to determine that the repair was too costly.  He offered to apply the cost of the visit toward installation of the dishwasher we would buy.  We planned to use that, but the new vendor offered installation at a lower price.  We plan  to use this business when we need appliance repair in the future.

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"100% satisfied!! I called to make an appointment to replace ducting insulation and spoke with a wonderful receptionist who made me an appointment with Alex the same day. He gave me three estimates to choose the level of work we wanted. We decided to replace all existing trunks, lines and insulation with the addition of a crawl space encapsulation. When I signed the contract he promised the encapsulation would start the next morning, but the ducting would have to be performed after the holiday. To our joy, the crew showed up three days in a row (including Saturday) and knocked out all of the work! The home is cooler and the air quality has vastly improved since everything is clean and new. "The service/repair went very well.  The existing air handler (a Goodman product) was replaced with a Lenox air handler.  After the Lenox air handler was installed it was determined that the dual zone handler (manufactured by the Green Zone) was faulty and had to be replaced.  Since the Green Zone product is not an "off-the-shelf" and readily available product it had to be ordered and shipped to Art Newsome, Inc.  They took care of ordering the dual zone product and worked around the absence of the dual zone product to provide air conditioning until the product could be delivered and installed.  As soon as Art Newsome, Inc., received the product they arrived to install it.  The installation went without a hitch and the heat pump/air handler have been working perfect;y.  I was very satisfied with the work Art Newsome, Inc. performed.
