"High quality, responsive, fair, and clean These guys are the best! We worked with them on a water heater replacement and a air conditioner repair/replacement - both in July 2019. When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean. I'm glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didn't melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!"

"We had water leaking into our crawlspace. It was a mess. The rugs we laid down to make crawling easier were soaked with foul-smelling liquid. Boxes of pictures were ruined. Contaminated items needed to be thrown away. It was a disaster. At first, we thought it may have come from a leak from a recently installed water heater. We contacted the installer (AJ Perri) to look at it. He said that it wasn't from the heater. He assumed it was water from outside and suggested we get a sump pump. We weren't entire convinced that was the case or the cause, so we reached out to plumbers here on Angie's--including Good Tidings. They had someone come over right away to look that problem. He looked (and smelled) the water and said it was from the sewer line, thinking there was a clog. It turned out the pipe was at fault and needed to be replaced. "I had the equipment replaced, a brand new, super high efficiency, fancy, lovely stuff. It's a central air system, and it's Lennox equipment. It's high efficiency. You can get it for less than that, but you're not gonna get the high efficiency quiet and all that kind of stuff. I had received other quotes which were like more money for the same system. I have been using them since 1986. No complaints. They do their thing, and I can't fault them. I have a service contract with them for this."
