"I've used Thermal Comfort a few times in the past to insulate entire homes, but this time I had a small job. Although this was a small job, they didn't treat it as one. From the start, I called Dason and he came to my property right away to look at the scope of work. I told him I'd like to get the work done ASAP. Although they were busy he squeezed me in, I was on his schedule within a week. The two techs, Randy and Walt were professional and got the job done in a timely manner. "They did a nice job overall. They had to remove siding outside and blow in the insulation. They also did have to insulate one wall on the inside of the house as it was bricked outside. They drilled holes in the walls to blow in the insulation. They then filled the holes and have them ready for me to prime and paint. They moved the furniture when needed. <br /> <br /> The windows did need caulking. The first window they used white caulk instead of clear. They did kinda a messy job , but then completed the job with clear caulk. It was completed nicely."

"Jim and his crew are amazing. He explained each phase of my summer improvement project and reviewed the options, explaining why he approached each task as he did. Every part of the job was done to high standards and the people who work for him are top tier at what they do. Even the neighbors were impressed at the efficiency and quality of the work that was done. The new insulation in the space above the family room has resulted in a more comfortable home overall now that heat can no longer enter or escape through that empty inaccessible space. The garage looks almost new again as issues caused by decisions at the time of the original build have been addressed. I expect it to stay that way for many years. "I purchased the big deal on Angies List.  We purchased the deal because we have high electric bills year round.  They range from $300-$500/month.  We have a brand new high effeciency propane furnace and new AC unit.  We figured the only reasonable explanation is the lack of insulation in the house. |I was actually pleasantly surprised at how he said my house was very well built and well insulated.  From the stove hood in the winter you can feel the cold air pouring from it.  The dishes in the cabinet next to the stove hood are freezing.  I actually have to warm them up in the microwave before using them or the food turns cold real fast!  Pathetic!  I made it quite clear that this was a major source of contention.  He went on the roof and said the cap for the vent hood needed replaced.  We planned on doing this in the summer.  So, this past summer we had a handyman come out to check it out.  I actually stuffed a whole bunch of insulation in the vent hood over the stove and have not been using it for years.  We took out the insulation and turned it on.  Turns out it vents out the side of the house off the sunroom not through the roof.  He said it needs insulation in the wall above the cabinets and hood(don't know what you call that).  The cabinets don't go all the way to the ceiling, their is about 16inches between the cabinets and ceiling he said we would have to remove the drywall and put insulation throughout the whole area. |     I just saw on the news where a company(didn't catch the name) does a similar inspection for $100.  But, they use an infrared camera to figure out exactly where the heat is being lost.  I wish I had gone with someone else that did that.  While I felt WH Insul. was very honest I think it was a waste of money.  The so called report is a joke.  Consists of a few sentences."

"The installers arrived on time and prepped the area to be sprayed by thoroughly covering areas that were not to be sprayed.  They sprayed areas between the joists with the spray foam insulation as proposed.  After the installation was complete, they cleaned up the area well.  The installers were very professional, considerate and extremley knowledgeable in their work.  I was very pleased with their work."
