"It went well there was an extra $45 charge for the rubber seal and it was provided in the summer time in July of 2014. Upon initial visit he was on time, when he had to bring back the glass with a rubber seal he came on a random day with no appt and just showed up even though we had an appointment and he never showed.  Fast forward to winter time when we were actually using the fireplace unit and from the get go it had a gas smell to it.  I called the service provider of which told me in July that he will be servicing my fireplace if anything needs to be done he will be here to fix the problem.  I called him set up an appointment for 1/6/2015 at 2pm.  It was 3pm I called him to find out where he is because there was a no call/ no show.  I reached him at his number to find that he was "at another job that lasted too long, I can be there in a 1/2 hour".  It sounded as though I woke him up and he was at home.  I told him that I will not be interested in his services any longer.  My gas fireplace is not able to be used to this day.

"Had this company clean/inspect our wood burning stove when we bought our house a year ago. After the huge wind storm the cap for the chimney fell off. Called around 11am to get it repairs… Chris had his crew around our area was literally there in less than 20 minutes and everything was fixed! Awesome company. Will be using them for everything."

"Everyone was just great!  These guys are on the ball!  They have a nice granite selection and we were able to find a very large remnant piece of granite that was lovely.  They came out 3 days later to make the template,  4 days later we were able to go back to check the placement of the template on the granite, and 5 days after that - it was installed.  They shaped a lovely edge and we are happy with the sinks they stocked.  
Both times they came to the house, they called ahead and arrived on time.  They worked carefully, everything fits just right.  We are very pleased.  And it cost almost 1/2 of what Home Depot wanted and with less hassles.  We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to neighbors.

"This is the second time we've hired John. He's responsive, punctual and very easy to work with. He cleans the work area daily and his work is impeccable. Before installation of the brick, he had to remove a Corian backsplash. This was his first brick backsplash and we couldn't be happier. In terms of cost, I couldn't tell you if he's high, low or average because he's' the only person I called. Also, the first time we hired him, about 4 years ago, he installed a porcelain tile floor which garners compliments all the time."

"After visiting and comparing several places in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, my wife and I decided to use Kol.  Their prices were comparable to the others, but my wife fell in love with one of their styles (Persian Treasure), they had excellent reviews here, and they gave acceptable answers to several of my questions.  They did a wonderful job with the fabrication which became apparent during the installation when each piece that they installed fit like a glove. There was some minor on-site work, but that's to be expected. The gentlemen who did the templating and installation were all very courteous and professional. They put down drop cloths and cleaned up after themselves quite nicely. In addition, they were on time, which is unusual these days.  I deducted a few points in the price and Professionalism categories because due to a minor incident.  After we signed the contract and left a 50% deposit but before the granite was installed and we paid the balance, my wife found their coupon for a free faucet.  She had put it in her purse and forgot about it. Luckily, we didn't forget to have them apply our 5% off Angie's List coupon. Their coupon hadn't expired (it applied to purchases made between certain dates and we signed our contract within that window), so my wife called to see if we could use it.  My wife spoke with a few people at Kol's to no avail. I'm more upset about the tone and comments made by their representatives than the fact that we didn't receive a free faucet.  However, the majority of our interactions with them were quite pleasant. Therefore, I didn't make too big a deal about it in my ratings. It just seems odd to me that a company with so many competitors out there would make a big deal about a few dollars for a faucet and speak so rudely to a customer who's spending almost $3,000 with them. All in all, I'd recommend them to you and would use them again myself. They do excellent work and that is, after all, why we went to them.
