We found Zen Windows after getting a quote from another company who gave us a 2-hour sales pitch. We were almost sold but wanted to be sure it was a good deal. All of my research kept pointing to great reviews about the quality of Zen Windows. Their [*** Link removed ***] site caught me off guard. No sales people…5-minute quote…No deposit… What?! Yep. All true. I already had the window counts and measurements, so sure, I requested a free quote to make sure that we were getting a good deal from the other place that was giving us "free" installation. Imagine my surprise when Zen’s price including installation was lower. No pressure. No add-ons. Bill came out to do the real measurements (so glad he didn’t trust mine!) and then Dan ordered our windows. The crew arrived on time and were able to replace every window in our house and the sliding glass door in less than 2 days. They even washed every window and cleaned up and hauled away the debris from removing the old windows. The house is so much cooler this summer, so we’re looking forward to reduced energy costs this winter, too. Our new windows look great and are easy to clean from the inside. The new sliding door has a security latch and a key. Dan made the process so easy. We are very pleased with the Zen Window experience, quality, and price. Highly recommend."

"From their office customer service, to their onsite crew, and from their follow up on the services performed..they did an excellent job all around. They completed the job the day of, even with running into an unexpected repair that my roof/chimney needed. They were able to fix that and stay right on schedule. Also, the business owner came back personally at the end of the day to inspect the work himself. All was done with the utmost quality. And all debris in the yard was cleaned up carefully after the job was completed. I would recommend them to anyone needing any work done on their home."

Great experience. Dan and his wife Tania came out to give me the estimate on the window work. While here, I asked  about the concrete work and was told Adam ( the son) could also do that type of work. I went with the company for both repairs.
Dan and Adam came at the agreed time, did both repairs. Also, great clean-up, only evidence of their being here is the good looking work!

"My daughter knew of my terrible experience with my prior company and she had just gotten a new wireless system from 1st Security. Jeremy scheduled the installation and sent me all of the paperwork via email to docusign. I could not wait! In a couple of days , Larry, the master technical installer appeared at my door very early. He greeted me with a smile and immediately showed me each piece of equipment ,and where he was going to install them. He did this very quickly, despite having to climb over furniture and enter tight spaces to place the contacts. I was astounded when after he finished, he sat down and gave me a full tutorial on using the system. He showed me all of it's capabilities, and answered my many questions . I could not believe how much easier and more up to date this security system was to use than my old one. I have had many, many technicians in my home from the prior system, but absolutely none were as knowledgeable, personable, efficient or professional as Larry. He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

"Contacted Hall's Lawncare after reading the Angie's List reviews and because they are located near us. My husband called about the gutter cleaning and was quoted $175. We were told the price was higher due to the hazardous height to reach the gutters in the back of the house. This didn't surprise us since we were unwilling to clean the gutters ourselves due to the height and steep roof. I believe it took a little under a week before they were able to show up. Our only minor complaint was not knowing each day if they'd been there since we assumed they'd arrive while we were at work. My husband walked around the house each day looking for gutter residue to see if they'd been there. I suggest leaving a business card tucked in the front door to announce that the job is done. After they cleaned them (we knew the job was done due to the residue), my husband called back to find out how full the gutters were and received a prompt call back with the answer that they were extremely clogged (as we had suspected). About a week after they cleaned them, we had an torrential downpour and were very happy that the gutters worked properly. The bill arrived in the mail a few days after the work was completed."
