"Andre’ replaced the worn out fixture in my main toilet that was causing the water to run non stop. He removed the 35+ year old basement toilet and replaced with a new one and balanced it. He did an excellent job. Both toilets run well. He also cleaned up after he was done."

"Job went great, needed a couple of things done (handyman + plumber) and multiple visits to my house. Henry made sure to confirm the appointment time the day before and the day of. He had to bring in a partner and made sure the jobs were completed appropriately."

"Communication and service were excellent. Issues: 1.) They communicated multiple times to me that they are a local business. They aren't, they are a national franchise with the serviceman located an hour away. 2.) I had a simple repair, but they couldn't provide an estimate over the phone. Once the serviceman arrived, he pulled out a standard pricing book (there is no adjustment for each job), so they could've provided pricing when I called. 3.) You pay $79 for the technician to come to your house. Even if you have them perform the work, they still charge the technician service fee... most companies kill this fee if you take the job. 4.) The pricing was excessive for a 1.5-2 hour job. Total $500 to replace a shower faucet (this is in addition to the cost of the new faucet, which I thankfully purchased in advance). Was desperate this time, but will choose a local privately owned plumber next time."

"Mike was great. I was very anxious about addressing some leaks, and Mike reassured me that he could correct it. He and his helper Lindsay arrived on time to replace a faucet and supply line; they ended up replacing a shutoff valve as well. Mike also checked a couple of other small repairs I had done myself. I would recommend Jim Olson Plumbing, and would hire them again."

"It went great.  It was not an emergency issue.  I called them in an evening and they called me back the next morning and had someone out within the hour.  I had called about the mud (sewage) coming back up from a drain.  When they arrived I told them about the leaky faucet.  They agreed to fix the faucet while there.  They did it all fast and at a good price.  Will definitely use again for my plumbing needs."

"Once I contacted Carlo from Service Experts and scheduled a time to come out to my house. He arrived on time as promised, very courteous and professional. He discovered where the leak was coming from (small rusted nail had pierced pipe) and quickly fixed and repaired the pipe. I would highly recommend and will use Carlo and Service Experts for all my future plumbing repairs. Very satisfied with the work."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Union Lake, MI

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
