"Excellent work. Our house was mostly built circa 1930, at least half had no wall insulation, and it has aluminum siding. Angie's list sent me 3 possible companies from which I selected two. RetroFoam wasn't even on the list I was sent but they called and was the only company from Angie's that was interested. They planned on four days to perform the job, arrived when they said, did excellent work, cleaned up well, and finished ahead of schedule even worked through the cold drizzly September weather we had. They removed and reinstalled the siding and it does not look like it was ever disturbed. I was a little leery about foam, but their product has no chemical smell, won't shrink, won't expand and bow your walls, has a transferable lifetime warranty, and is supposed to be easy to run wiring through. We definitely recommend them."

"They filled my attic with insulation. I was amazed at the temperature difference after they were done. I had them schedules to blow insulation into my walls. They came out and started the job, only to find that I already had insulation in my walls. They were honest, and didn't even charge me for the little bit of work that they did perform. I paid them, and was very happy with the job they did. A few days later the owner comes to my door, and says that I had been over charged for the service due to rebate with the gas company. He gave me a check. I can not say enough good things about there honesty and integrity. The main guy I dealt with during the job was Corey. He was knowledgeable, and explained everything that he was doing. I highly recommend them for the work they do."

"Our house is 108 years old and most of the foundation was in terrible shape with bulging, shifting, cracking big enough for possums to get through, and leaking in the front and on both sides. We were on the way to working with another company to do the work when their estimated costs suddenly went sky high and there was no evidence of a contract to show specifically what work they were going to provide. I called Basement Doctor and talked to project manager Rob Forrest, had an evaluation by Al Galko, structural engineer, and met foreman Justin Parks. By the time I had an estimate of cost (expensive, but reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done) and time (also reasonable at 3 to 4 weeks), and a contract to sign that clearly spelled out the work, I was confident in going ahead with Basement Doctor as provider. The main crew of Justin, Matt, and Greg was amazing--considerate, hardworking, professional, punctual, and neat (cleanup every day). Other crews, also efficient and reliable, came to do specific work such as excavating or electric work. The crew found other problems along the way, and there were 2 change orders clearly specifying the work and cost. When a problem cropped up, Justin always let me know right away with one or more solutions already in mind. Disruption to our daily living was minimal. The crew went above and beyond the letter of the contract, for example, building new steps to the front porch after having to tear off the old ones and other such touches that continue to make our lives easier. The workmanship was excellent, and we are very happy with the end result. Our basement is solid, dry, and safe. I believe it can stand proud for the next 108 years. Not only did he remove/replace the water heater, he installed a new gas line to the heater and, when he was finished with the remove/replace, he cleaned up every little bit of mess he made during the process! "All work was done in one day by the hard working crew.  David handled the sales side of things.  Overall a great experience and an excellent job on the roof. <br /> The wrong colored shingles were delivered but fortunately David checked the color before any were nailed down.  He got the new shingles to site on time to complete the job in one day.  Good catch! <br /> Also the crew did what seemed to be a good job of cleaning the yard of nails and other debris (ran a magnetic sweeper through the yard, etc) but we still found some roofing nails in the yard.  Just a warning that if you have kids or like to barefoot that roofing is a messy job and there still maybe some that get missed. <br /> Overall a great job and experience. <br /> <br /> <br />"
