The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"The job went very well. Doug provided a very fair quote to replace my 4 year old roof that was very poorly installed by a different contractor. He also provided a quote to replace my family room ceiling which was damaged due to the roof leaking. He responded to my request for an estimate within minutes and was at my house within 30 minutes to determine the work to be done. He was upset by the work by the previous contractor and his goal was to restore my confidence in small business contractors and he and his workers definitely did that. Doug and the crew were thorough and attentive to small details. They went above and beyond on some aspects of the job.....manufacturing and installing a finished edge where the roof met the house on the garage and on an addition, matching the paint color of my siding for that edging, painting the roof vents and power vent, adding very nice crown molding on the newly installed ceiling. The crew was friendly and respectful of my property and Doug checked in regularly to make sure things were progressing well and that I was satisfied. The job did take longer than the original estimate, but that was because of the issues that had to be dealt with. The work was completed for the price quoted. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"We started a kitchen remodel two years ago.  Long story short, the initial contractor did an awful job and I was turned down by two new contractors because they didn't want to deal with all of the leftover mess (things not done to code, not done correctly, inspector issues and so on).  But, from the moment I met Dave I was impressed with how he handled the situation.  Things started to go as planned and we hit another bump in the road.  This time, it was us and we needed to pay cash for a big chunk of the job so we needed time to save money in between each step.  Dave was very understanding and gave us the time we needed and we proceeded step by step over the next year or so.  We are now finally finishing the job and I am very happy with our service.  Phil, the designer on our job, has been a life saver.  He has helped me with everything and has even provided moral support when I needed it.  He knew when to help me see his point and when to see mine.  He has been a blessing.  In addition, the project manager, Ric, has been amazing.  Not only does he do quality work, but he has been excited for us knowing what we have gone through.  His work is excellent and he is clean and careful and extremely thoughtful while in our home.  He has been an absolute delight to work with.  I respect these men very much.  There have been a few workers I have not been happy with (on some other small jobs that arose over the last year or so), but most things were handled and worked out.  "
