"I called Watkins at 5:00pm to report that our air conditioner wasn't cooling.  I was told that all technicians were busy but they would call as soon as one became available.  Within 30 minutes a truck was in our driveway!!  The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part (capacitator) in his truck, and completed the service within 45 minutes.  Total cost, including after-hours service call, was $305.12.
The first time I called Watkins was in 2014 when a competitor (that I had used for semi-annual maintenance for almost 20 years!) told us we had a cracked heat exchanger.  The cost to repair was very expensive so I called Watkins for a complementary second opinion.  The Watkins' technician told me this competitor was famous for this heat exchanger "scam" and found no problem whatsoever this our system.  I knew then that I could trust Watkins and would definitely use them in the future.  Today was that opportunity and I have nothing but high praise for them!!

"It went great! Paul Lyons and Logan Washburn did a fantastic job. Our ducts were filthy, including blockages caused by mold and dust; they both worked diligently for hours to get them sparkling clean, including using a chemical to kill any remaining mold. One of the guys showed my husband an issue with our furnace (it was seated incorrectly when installed), and provided a temporary "fix". Making the appointment was quick and easy; everything was explained in a clear and friendly manner. We have noticed improved air flow and much less dust throughout our house since then. "The service calls went well. Two service men called and arrived within the appointed 2-hour window. On the first call, they inspected the A/C system for overall function and regular maintenance needs. This was the first time I'd had this system inspected (new house). They identified that the pressure in the system was low and provided an estimate for fixing that and making a couple other fixes -- a missing pad and couple loose internal pieces. They explained everything in detail, with instructions for what to monitor in the system to maintain its functionality. They returned the next day, with the additional equipment needed. They refilled the coolant and reset all the other components quickly. The system has been running efficiently all summer. The total cost came in under the original estimate, which was nice. And because they didn't have everything they needed on the first visit, there wasn't an extra service charge for the second visit to finish the job.
