"The installation of the windows was a little sloppy. The door installation took too long, 2 days separated by 2 weeks. Responsiveness to our concern to get the work done on time we’re not satisfactory. There were some employees absent due to sickness. Although I understand it is not my responsibility to make sure the work gets done. We had to park outside the garage because the doors were stored there waiting for installation to continue."

George was very accommodating and worked around our schedule to come out and show us the available selection of doors. About 4 weeks after the doors were ordered, we received a call from the installer (Ray) to schedule installation of the doors. Ray came the following business day and installed the doors. "The entire process was excellent.  Doug Lippitt, the sales rep, provided a complete description of how Stanek Windows are made.  He exhibited the effect of several levels of insulation in the windows with a heat lamp.  
After the sale, Doug was very attentive to assure the delivery and installation was done on schedule.  The installation process went very well.  The installers arrived, removed the old windows and installed the new windows.  The old (original) windows had hardware that I wanted to keep.  The installers removed all the hardware for me.
The transom windows were replaced during a renovation project.  Because of the tight timing, Doug Lippett worked very hard to have the windows delivered and installed on schedule.  This took a lot of his time to ask the factory to speed up the window building process.
Other contractors have noticed the doors installed by Stanek.  I have gotten a few comments about how well the doors were installed, and, door installation is not an easy thing to do - especially in an old house.

"A Century Chimney camera inspection of the chimney in our 90-plus year old house revealed badly deteriorated flue tiles. The damage -- which made our fireplace too hazardous to use -- was beyond ordinary repair and required the installation of a stainless steel liner. Century installed the liner, insulating it with Thermix; parged the smoke chamber; installed a new damper and crown; and performed all the necessary grinding and tuckpointing of the masonry. The chimney is tall (about 27 feet) and the liner job was challenging. Owner Gary Spolar was onsite for the daylong job. He and his team really know their stuff. In addition to being experts, they were also punctual, responsive, friendly, and thoroughly professional. Plus they left the site clean, inside the house and out. The work was done in September 2018. We've used the fireplace multiple times since then and it works perfectly."

The crew arrived at the time specified and completed the tear-off and installation expeditiously. Were very professional and clean. Ensured that none of plants and landscaping was harmed. Cleaned up after work very well. Salesman checked back couple of days later to make surethat work was satisfactory and took care of one small item that wasn't quite right.
Price was very competitive. Recommended them to several neighbors who then had the work done and they also were pleased.

"After reading other people's experience with Garrity Painting and doing my own exhaustive search on their track record, I called for an estimate. The owner, John Garrity, returned my call the same day and scheduled a site visit to see the scope of our project. The more I talked to him, the more it was evident that he and his team take great pride in their work. Little did I realize just how honest and hard working those guys would be! Not only were they here every day, all day, they took their time prepping surfaces (like sanding our garage doors and front door -- several times), they fixed issues they found along the way instead of simply painting over it, they painted test colors around the outside in various places so we could see the colors in different times of the day, they walked around to confirm which colors went where, they primed and they did not cheat us on the amount of paint they used for each coat. "I had all brand new interior doors installed inside my house last winter. Three of the doors were sticking and would not close at all. I called On The Job, left a message detailing my problem, and a short time later I received a call from Bob. I asked if this was the kind of job that he would do and he stated probably but he would like to come out and check just to make sure he knew just what the problem was with the doors. He came out that same afternoon (I think it was 6/6) and scheduled the work to be done on Saturday morning (6/11) since he was involved in other jobs. On Wednesday 6/8, I got a call from Bob that he had some free time between jobs and asked if he could come that afternoon. He and Jeff showed up and had the job done in about 2 hours. They did an absolutely beautiful job. And, no wood shavings were left anywhere at all. They were very organized, professional, prompt and extremely clean workers.
